I got these to work some pocket hole jigs mostly but already used them for some additional purposes once I found out they can be used with my DeWalt folding table. Cant beat these for the price

These clamps were exactly what I needed, to repair the woodwork in my motorhome. Great price and quality. .

Cant have enough of them if you are doing any form of wood working.

Bought these to hold some dexk fascia board in place nothing even close to the rated capacity. Handle broke first time I used it.

I used Dewalt clamps for many years while working with wood to build various projects. One set of clamps 12” is about 10 years and still work great and as expected. Decided to buy this set for the price of one Dewalt 12” clamp.

Very disappointed in this DeWalt product. DeWalt needs to pull this product. Easily breaks as you apply pressure. I've the same thing happen 3 times. Got rid of them.

These clamps have plastic pads that break apart very easily. I don't recommend buying this product.

Plastic pads broke. They should be rubber and able to withstand normal use.

The black plastic that grips the wood is very brittle. I rarely used my clamps (maybe half a dozen times) and after a year the black plastic crumbled into pieces just touching it. I do not recommend this product. Now I'm going to have to make my own soft pads, and I'm open to suggestions.

I picked up my first 4 pack some years back, and thought it was about time to stock up on some more given the amount of times I find myself grabbing these over other clamps. Unfortunately, they seem to have changed the production of them. Immediately they don’t feel has heavy duty and durable. I’m not sure if the old beams were steel and the new ones are aluminum, but the plastic definitely isn’t as dense as the old ones. They made the clamping surface bigger, but the triggers and handles smaller... they just feel fragile. The new ones also have a lot of play not only side to side, but the clamp arm swivels up and down due to the beam fitting so loosely into it. I feel like DeWalt took a step backwards.

I use them for all sort of projects, they have rubber padding to prevent leaving marks on wood

Used this fantastic clamps for temporarily holding my form work to make plaster molds for a mug! Great tool saving a lot of time compared to alternatives (like bolt and nuts etc) See pictures :)

These clamps work perfectly for my railroad and dollhouse modeling. Here they are clamping the 2nd story floor into my UP dollhouse. The floor was warped so needed lots of clamping to hold it in place. When I purchase the trigger clamp 4-pack, I also purchased two even larger clamps. All six, plus a couple more I had, are being used on this job. They are working fantastically.

These clamps are great! A little pricey individually, so if you need more than one, this 4-pack is the way to go. They are very sturdy and have a secure hold. The trigger is comfortable and easy to operate with one hand. The release trigger is conveniently located and makes adjusting/moving the clamp quick and easy.

Really good clamps, great clamping force, and easy to use, both tightening and loosening. Very little deflection at full clamping force. And turning it to a spreader is a snap! I got a set, realized how great they were, and then got another. Then asked for a 3rd set for christmas!

Great clamps! I do a lot of projects and these are used all the time. These can be used to help with mock ups, gluing projects together and use for that extra hand you need when no one else is around, light weight and easy to use. I have had these for a couple of days and already getting a lot of use.

I do hobbie work building guitars and other stringed instruments. These clamps are delicate enough and don't mar a surface. They are a good quality and they are a good value

You never have enough clamps went building a model railroad. The DeWalt clamps have a deeper throat then the other brands and feel better when tighten down,

These are great for all sorts of wood projects. I just dont know how I ever lived without these. They have a lot of holding grip. Great to have when you need extra hands when nonone is around helping. Great quality

Four clamps for a very fair price. They work exceptional well and allow one hand application which is great for furniture assembly. Can never have too many clamps. Also used to hold short beams and braces while lag bolting a patio cover together. Used all of the four in building Mission style dining table and four chairs. Came in very handy in building my favorite Morris chair.

As a woodworker you can never have enough of 2 things: Wood and clamps. I have in excess of 100 clamps but always seem to need a few more. I have some very old trigger clamps that were discontinued years ago that sill work great. Since then I have been searching for more with little luck until now. First let me preface this by saying I use trigger clamps for work holding. These clamps do not provide sufficient enough strength for a glue-up. If you are using them for glue ups and are disappointed, it's no fault of this particular clamp. It's not what they were designed for. A bar clamp, pipe clamp, or parallel clamp is better suited for that task. As mentioned I use these for work holding. When I need to safely secure a huge board to a bench to cross cut it, to hold a piece during routing operations, or to clamp things down to a drill press table or cross cut sled, I like the ease of use of a trigger clamp. Until these I was buying the Irwin clamps. I am not a fan. The bars deflect with even medium pressure, when clamped tightly they don't want to release smoothly, and the pivot on the head is useless. There is never a situation where that would work well. There is a lock to keep the head from pivoting, but it loosens at will. The dewalt clamps are nice. The jaw pads are fairly hard. Not hard enough to mar a work piece, but enough for good grip without being squishy. The jaws are parallel to each other and stay that way unless you really over do it. They have plenty of strength for work holding, and release very easily. I really like the release mechanism. It has a very positive feel. In addition even caked with sawdust, the jaws move freely in and out on the bar. Making one handed operation simple. These are my new go to "3rd hand" clamps. I wish dewalt would release a version with a larger throat/reach. It's a terrific design

These clamps are fairly sturdy and don’t appear to want to bend or twist when using them. The clamp face pads are a bit small and I would much rather seem them cover a larger surface area. The reversible clamp faces work well to go between clamp and spreader mode, but you can only reverse them in face-aligned positions and not opposite facing positions. I’ve used other trigger clamps in the past with the faces on opposite sides to hold together oddly shaped work. You can’t do that with these. The trigger strength of these clamps is average. I did feel the trigger pull give way when trying to use them to align 8ft fence panels at the cross members. I’d say these are about average for what you might expect from a trigger clamp set.
