Purchased this bit yesterday and used it to cut a 3/4" deep circular notch into plywood with my handheld router. The bit cut well, but after ~ 6 inches of cutting, it broke where the shank of the bit meets the router collet. Extremely disappointed.

I bought this to start on a new project. I had a straight cut bit already for the router, but I thought, this project should start with fresh items to give the best finish possible. The bit fit my router. On the first plunge cut went smooth. As I move the router to cut the path the tips of the bit shattered. One minute into the project and I had to switch back to the older bit. From what I guess, the bit hit a knot. I would have expected this product to last longer than a minute. I expected it to be used to finish the project. This did not meet my expectations for the product.

Nice clean cuts in pine and poplar. I needed something for my router table to clean edges on 1x for joining. I also use it in my handheld for plate edges on shelves. I follow up with 45° bevel on one side and it works perfect.

Used to dato 3/4 cherry. Chucked it up in my shaper. Made 3 passes for the required 3/8 inch depth just to be safe. Very smooth cuts. I only gave it 4 stars because I really wanted a 1/2 inch shank which wasn't available at my local Home Depot.

I wanted to build a shadow box bookcase for my son and his fiancé as a housewarming present. I bought this bit with the express purpose of making dados and rabbets. I built a jig specifically for it and was very pleased with the results.

I needed a new straight bit because my old one was getting dull so since Diablo is such a highly regarded brand I bought this one the first pass through some maple it started smoking and burnt up the bit and I know the speed of the router and my push trough weren't the problem I ended up buying a whiteside bit same style and it worked like a charm the Diablo was definitely not up to the task

I had high hopes for this bit, but it wore out quickly.

Great tool to make slots for 1/2" plywood in custom cabinetry and more.

Did not stay sharp , less than 8’ plywood

This bit cut great, very smooth compared to cheaper bits
