I love this stuff. It is strong, lasts for years and really does the job - not just keeping birds out, but squirrels, snakes and even rabbits. (I also use it around my Koi pond to keep out snakes and herons.) However, you have to be very careful when setting it up because it gets caught on everything - your shoes, buttons, zippers, etc. Bonus tip: don't try to deploy in strong wind. It will just catch on everything else like twigs, leaves and anything that isn't round. For even easier application, I fold Gorilla tape around the edges. That makes it easier for me to see and gives me a good foundation when I'm tying it down.

I made this purchase to protect my tomato plants from birds, and i’m 100% satisfied.

Easy ordering and looks great. I love the product - haven't seen any bird pooh under the patio cover since installed!

Performs well, keeping the birds & small pests off my Tomato's.

So far it seems to be working to keep the birds off my tomatoes and persimmons. They're in the process of ripening so time will tell. The netting is large (14') in width which makes it a bit unwieldy but there is quite enough to get the coverage over the garden and tree. It was a last resort but seems to be proving to work well.

Did a great job of keeping the birds out of our peaches. Only problem was that it got caught on just about everything, including any buttons on my shirt that it brushed up against. We will use it again.

I recommend this product. Keeps the squirrels away from my tomato plant on my deck.

The rating is more because Home Depot's description of the product is inaccurate. The product is probably fine for birds, as indicated by the package. Home Depot adds that this product is also good for "garden pests", going on to specify that "garden pests" include squirrels and rabbits. Because of this, I anticipated the netting to be constructed of something stronger. However, it is your basic bird netting that does nothing to protect produce from squirrels or rabbits. They can very easily chew right through. Consequently, I have lost every vegetable in my garden.

I wish you wouldnt ask for a review every time i buy something from home depot. Can you imagine how much time it would take if everything i bought asked for a review! Sorry, i do love home depot anyway!

The netting is working well and I’m glad I got it. However, I went to the store to pick it up without the order number, and they said they could find it under my tele no. They didn’t show any record of ordering. I bought one from the garden section only to get home and get my order number via e-mail. The store should have found it either by name or number or e-mail address. Needless to say I had to return one of them.

Completely impossible to work with. The netting is huge, way bigger than my needs, and catches on absolutely everything, including itself. After an hour of struggle and despite my best efforts, it ended up a hopelessly tangled mess fit only for the trash. I guess I'll have to take my chances with my cherries.

Did not like it! Too flimsy. Don't think it is really 14 ft wide.

This actually works! I had been struggling to keep the birds out of my garden and this helped! Now I can finally enjoy my garden!

The thread of this mesh is very thin. It is so thin that it cannot be effectively stapled to any type of support. This is adequate for draping over items, but it easily torn.
