Bought this from Home Depot about 4 years ago. About 6 months ago it quit - the digital display went haywire and it stopped cooling. For almost $500.00, I would have thought it would have lasted years, but I'm sure they jack the price up because people who can afford lots of wine can also afford to pay a lot for wine coolers. If you're about the display to show off to friends, buy a wine cooler but know you'll have to shell out the bucks every few years. If you're about cooling your wine, buy a regular or small size consumer refrigerator for a LOT less and keep it in the garage, but don't by this.

If you need a cooler to hold 3 dozen bottles of wine, look elsewhere. The shelves in this cooler are so close together you cannot store a single bottle of wine on any of the shelves except for the top shelve. You have to remove two of the shelves on the bottom. Picture is totally misleading.

It took a while to find a cooler to fit my 22 inch wide space. This Danby cooler is a nice replacement for my 10 yr old Magic Chef. The racks slide easy enough and the temperature regulation is within 2-3 degrees. It has a very quiet operation. I am very satisfied.

Unit looks very nice but the compressor is significantly louder than I'd expected. With the exception of the top shelf, not a good fit for bottles that are slightly thicker than normal.

Operates as expected. Chills down to 45 deg setting. Also chills cold soda cans. Warmer zone functions per 65 deg setting with 45 cold zone. Located in dining room. See comments for improvement.

It's very compact and stylish. Hold almost 40 bottles of wine at 2 separate temperatures. Love, love, love it!

I like the size but it needs an area to stand up an opened bottle.

My builder installed this in my bar 8 years ago. It's been a great cooler. I even stock beer in the bottom part as it has 2 different temps. Lately it has been running off and on so I think it's just time to get another one. For the price, I think it's a great little cooler.
