The remote controlled outdoor outlets are perfect for managing our outdoor Christmas lights. They were easy to install and easy to operate. They work well with both our multi-string lights and our bush lights. Both of those operate off the same control unit. That’s a definite plus! We’ve even adapted one RCV for an indoor light display. We highly recommend this product for anyone looking for an outdoor controller for their home.

I purchased this product last year. One receiver stopped working partway through the season. Went and bought another 3 pack set to finish out the season. Not I plugged it in this season and one doesn’t work. They literally have been packed in the Christmas decorations for less than a year and a second one doesn’t work. JUNK

These worked out great. I have a shed out back that I turned into a ManCave. Have extension cords concealed so I use this to control front inside lights, up top ceiling light, and wall mounted fan. That way everything doesn't always have to be on together. But I can control each with just the one remote. Strong.

The remote switch worked well for me. I used one outdoor and two indoor to control decorative lighting. Outdoor was able to be controlled from three houses away when in line of sight. Around corners also worked but at a shorter distance. I could also control the switch through the kitchen window. Indoor was able to be controlled from 3 rooms away albeit with no doors involved. The nice location was the power plug behind the Christmas tree. Great place to use remote switch. Features: 1) the switch is push "On" position and a push "Off" position and there are 3 independent controls on the remote control (one for each plug unit). 2) The Switch unit has two plug points rated at 15 amps each but the plug into the wall is a 20 amp rating so the total of the two is only 20 amps (15 working amps). The outdoor Christmas decorations were fine with 5 inflatables and 8 strings of lights. I use a waterproof bag over plug plug protection points that could be exposed to water such as rain. My current use is under a porch and roof. 3) A possible negative is that if the power goes out the switch reverts to "Off". This would be my preference. I just need to turn it "On" after the outage. 4) The remote control uses batteries but they only drain when the control buttons are pushed. It should be a long time before the batteries are drained.

We’ve been happy with these. They work well. We have two light strings in the back yard and one in the front. We have the remote control in the kitchen which is 50’ or so from both controllers and it works great.

Whoever invented these is genius. Absolutely has made my Christmas full of joy. I hooked up all my outdoor Christmas lighting and inflatable decorations. No need to go outside to operate. My granddaughters love them cause Santa Land is ready at the touch of their little fingers on a button. And, when it gets windy immediately l turn them off from inside my house. I used these along with the three in one outdoor extension cords. The beauty is that this remote allows you to plug in two cords so in reality l am able to control a total of six items with one remote and the three cord extension. This has made my Christmas perfect. Love it, love it, love it.

Works great, good quality, good range and goes through walls. Get the kind with two female outlets.

THIS IS MY SECOND PKG OF DEFIANT WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL-THEY WORK GREAT WITH CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AROUND THE YARD, VERY EASY TO USE. WOULD BUY MORE IF NEEDED.
