Just what I needed for drain line installation in heat pump indoor unit.

Using these to secure ductless mini split flex hose into pvc condensate lines. These parts are a bit loose, so I gob them up with glue and hope they stick long term. Also have to buy those ring clamps to tighten the hose onto the red part.

Used this connector for mini split installation. Had to tighten the A/C condensate drain to the plumbing line to meet the Code requirements.

I wanted to transition from the cheap condensate tubing that mini split manufactures like to use to pvc without risking a leak. This fit the bill. I put a little bit of silicone on the exterior and end of the evaporator tube, slid it into the red rubber part of the adapter and then hose clamped snug, not over tightened. Then I primed and glued (pvc glue) the tapered end of the adapter at the thickest part (where the 3/4” pvc lands) as well as the inside end of my 3/4” pvc pipe and made the connection. Tested it the next day, no leaks! Finished by using a good quality foam rubber pipe insulation and taped all my joints and seams to prevent the drain line from sweating inside the house.

The quality of the part is very high. The description of the part on the website was very poor. After getting the part and seeing how it used it did not fit my particular situation but I would recommend this part on new installs.

The Gree unit comes with one. I didn't need top order another.

It was suggested for the a/c unit I bought but it wouldn’t fit

Fit drain line with a couple wraps of teflon on unit side and heated pex pipe to fit over adapter end allowing for interior to remain smooth

It shows with an A/C that makes you think you need it. This was for a split until not the window and not the window units I purchased.

The adapter is well made but it should come with a clamp to make it more usable on different sizes.

Didn’t work for me. I purchased this product to drain my mini split into 3/4 pvc. The rubber end didn’t fit either the 5/8 tubing attached to the mini split or the 3/4 pvc. In the end I used a threaded bushing and threaded in a barbed fitting then attached the hose to that with a hose clamp.

It was recommended to go with the AC I purchased and it did not go with it at all.

was required to connect the drain on a carrier mini split, a/c system.I should has been included in the parts required for assembly.

18 mm did not tell me that it was 3/4 inch I needed 5/16 inch

Easy to install with added clamp. Solved leak easily.
