It’s mobility is my favourite thing I love about my CFX28. It’s easy to carry from my car to a hotel room when traveling. My ARB fridge was a real hassle trying to move it around. My Dometic fridge makes ice and it will last as long as I want while in the back country but my only problem with it is that it has stopped working all together after about a year and a haft of owning it. I have used it on six trips and was disappointed when it failed.

Have had it in my semi now for 3-4 weeks and glad I made the purchase. Beats any other type of cooling there is!! You won’t be sorry if buy this fridge!!

The CFX28 has been the perfect size for day trips and single overnights. It keeps everything in the low 30’s reliably efficiently in terms of power. And, well, fu@! ice! Forget about food swimming in nasty water or worrying about having to leave just to get ice.

I've been living full time in my '98 Tacoma for a year and a half now. It's an awesome adventure rig, but up until a few months ago I had no reliable way to keep my food cool. Because of the longterm nature of my use, I was getting tired of cycling out bags of ice every few days in my cooler. I got my hands on the CFX 28 and it solved a lot of my problems pretty quickly. It's small, not much bigger than the cooler it replaced. It is energy efficient, and most importantly, it stands up to the banging around it does in my back seat when I'm off road. My only complaint about the thing is I wish I could open the lid from the side, the way a chest freezer opens - I believe this is how they're set up on their larger fridges.

If you’re like me, space is a precious resource in a van/RV and I wasn’t excited about taking up a good bit of my living space with a bulky cooler. The CFX 28 however is the perfect size, and I don’t know how I lived without it. It’s pretty incredible how efficient it is once it reaches the desired temperature. Super easy to use and operate, no unnecessary bells and whistles. This product does its job and does it well. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Great refridge/freezer. I couldn't ask for more. Hint: don't wast the space with drinks just use it for food. Use a regular ice cooler for all your drinks!

It would not turn on at all. Neither from a 12V or a household current. I’m returning it.

I've really been enjoying my CFX 28 as much on trips as much as off. When traveling having cold drinks, perishable foods and meats with you to eat well is imperative. But when I'm back home I use my fridge to house my meal-prep meals. Wherever I am for work I have a good healthy choice of food to eat as well as some of my favorite drinks. I use it with a Goal Zero 1000 and it runs the fridge in summer for 4 days before recharging. Couldn't recommend this fridge enough.

Great product. Keeps food at set temp in 107F heat. Very quiet. Lots of room for 3 days worth of food. Easy to organize food. Much better than an ice chest. So glad I decided to but one.

My boyfriend and I took a normal cooler camping for a week for last year's Overland Expo. I accidentally bought loose ice and after a couple days all the food in our cooler was ruined which ensued in an argument. Thankfully with this cooler we don't have to worry about soggy food and we have one less thing to worry about on our road trips. It also fits well in our vehicle with all the other gear we always carry.

Been using this in my off grid day cooks for a few months now. Super efficient, quiet and durable. Perfect for the road!!!!

The CFX27 is a very nice unit. It runs very quietly and has a high quality feel throughout. It uses only 2-5% capacity of my Goal Zero Yeti 400 (Lithium) battery running overnight (cool nights in Berkeley CA). Should have a perpetual running system with my Renogy 160 W solar panel. Very happy!

I acquired a CFX 28 after many years of dealing with coolers and all their shortcomings. I honestly don't know how I lived without one of these for so long. Instead of fighting with ice and soggy food I can carry multiple days worth of meals with me and know it will remain fresh and unspoiled. It's a real treat being able to cook a meal instead of eating yet another bag of freeze dried goodness. The 28 fits perfectly in the hatch area of my Subaru Outback and it's light enough to remove when I don't need it. At this point I'll never go back to cooler again!

Ive used this fridge on several trips and just having it in my truck daily. It is impossible to go back to a normal cooler with ice after using this. Wouldn't go on another trip without one.

We recently picked up a CFX28 for our Toyota RAV4, perfect size and perfect for our weekend adventures/trips. Stoked about it! Took the RAV4 to the next level.

I've used my Dometic CFX 28 on a couple of long weekend road trips and it is a game changer! I love not having to pour out melted ice and constantly replace the melted ice. Also, it works great as a second fridge during the holidays!
