Great power, very easy pull start, starts almost first pull every time.

It's a little early to tell but so far it's pretty decent. I think they purposely design the attachments with the wrong positioning so that it causes issues. Yesterday I found that if I use the edger attachment, the gas tank becomes inverted and it wouldn't crank. Soon as I turned it upright with gas tank on ground, it cranked. It had over 1/2 a tank of fuel and was primed, so it really just came down to positioning the gas tank properly. Guess they need to keep the repair shops in business now that so many people use electric.

The employee said it would fit universally for my attachments. It does not. Proprietary set up. Returning.

With all the rain that Tennessee has gotten over the last month. My driveway embankment has gotten out of control. Honestly, looks like it could be a hay field. This trimmer had no problem handling 2 ft high grass.

I purchased this echo srm-225 n the fall of 2016. For engine break-in it is best to run the oil and gas mix slightly richer. This trimmer has been running excellent since brand new only had to replace normal things like an air filter and spark plug. Ome people are worried about the oil that is coming from exhaust but this is normal because it is a two cycle engine(oil and gas) mix. Also the engine clearances are bigger in today's engines for example cars now days require synthetic blend oils plus heavier weight oil

Easy to start, powerful, able to switch out tools, only had it for a short while but like it so far.

Replaced a EGO battery trimmer that lasted less than a year before it simply quit working. Also purchased a blade cutter attachment which works extremely well and easy to change to and from. Nice to return to dependable gas trimmer and ECHO products are part of a superior brand in my opinion.

As good or better than Stihl. Quick speed feed and reload is outstanding!

Weedeater came smashed up on the plastic. I needed the Weedeater asap and they said they could not ship a new one until they picked this one up then would ship me a new one after. I would’ve been waiting atleast a week.

Took it back because it would not start. HD was generous and gave a full refund even though I had filled it with fuel and scratched it up a bit trying to start it. Spent a little more money and bought a Stihl. 10 times the machine. Starts every time on the first pull. Never another Echo product.
