After a few years of successful using this blower, it stopped mid-task. Now won’t start. I bought the Echo Tune Up kit ( spark plug, fuel filter and air filter) with no effect…still won’t even fire at all.

Approximately 15 years ago I scoured the market for the lightest and quietest fuel powered backpack leaf blower coming up with the subject model. I still have not found a quieter or lighter one since. I was distressed not seeing them in stores recently, glad they are still available on line. Mine has literially hundreds of hours of time on it with only regular servicing and use of fresh alcohol free fuel with Echo’s conveniently packaged lubricant. When I say fresh, I only purchase fuel and mix in half gallon quantities as consumed. Always starts easily

This blower is absolutely perfect for ladies who need a lighter weight blower but still need plenty of power. The blower weighs about 14 lbs when fueled up and sits in a very balanced and comfortable position on my back. I am 5'2", 62, and small framed so I was worried about the weight of it. Not a problem. I use it daily at my horse barn and also at home and a lake house. It gets plenty of use especially in the fall and it tackles wet or dry leaves, sticks, sycamore burrs, etc with equal ease. It cranks easily and I use a 50:1 premix with ethanol free gas. A nice plus is that it is not as loud as some other blowers. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat.

Easy to carry and a lot of power for the money it can really do the job.

I picked this up today for 55% off because it was a refurbished unit at Home Depot. I was going to pay $250 plus for a backpack blower and this one had been returned and discounted. I brought it home, filled it with mixed gas, primed it, and it cranked on the first pull! It doesnt have the blowing force that I expected from a backpack blower, but it had more than enough to blow 3 feet of wet leaves into a pile for mulching later. The best feature is that it is quiet compared to most units of the same design. With it being Christmas eve, I am sure the neighbors appreciated the low-noise. I would recommend this purchase for home owners with under an acre of yard. Love it!

Not enough power my Troy bilt hand held had more power then that

This is a great tool. It is light. Has enough power. Easy to start. This is the second one we have owned and the first one is still running.

I would never buy one of these blowers for myself. I asked my company to buy me a blower(for work around our building) and this is what I got. The blower itself is fine, it's the idiotic design that I have a problem with. Why would ECHO design a blower with a seperate controller? It is the most cumbersome blower I have ever used. Trying to get it on, then trying to maneuver the nozzle around and then trying to grab hold of the separate arm trigger controller is ridiculous

what great little blower not heavy like some still has lots of power for it's size wish one thing it had throttle on same side as the bigger models............

This was a replacement for my 15 year old Echo PB 265LN. Loved the old one ?? So far so good with this new one. ??

I do not have a large yard so this blower has worked well for my yard and I am happy with the purchase. For a larger yard the power may not be enough. Just a few thoughts Pros Lightweight Small so it's easy to move around and get behind things. Durable- I have left it in rain by mistake on a few occasions. Cons Had to duct tape the extension on blower arm. (This problem is pretty universal on backpack blowers) Power is decent- ok for smaller yards

Blows less then I thought, weak lip

This is a great leaf blower. Lightweight and easy to assemble, runs a long time on a little gas. LADIES, if your single and like doing your own yard work, this little leaf blower would be perfect for you. Adjustable straps, wear it like a backpack. Great value for your money, one pull start and off you go. LOVE THIS BLOWER!!!!!

Light-weight but powerful enough for my acre property. I’ve owned this at least 10 years. I bought a brand-new one that wasn’t delivered fast enough; in meantime, took old one in for a tune-up and it runs great again!! Saved me $300 on the new one.

instructions for assembling the leaf blower were horrible (may have been worst I've ever had) & one of the straps broke upon attempts to tighten it. Upon contacting Echo, a new set was sent. Once solving assembly & straps (tho' wish they could be tightened even more or even including horizontal strap too), leaf blower works great.

Excellent product absolutely love it !

Perfect size for what we need. Starts relatively easily. Had the same model for about 10 years, time to get another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding power. Clears the yard fast and you have control over the blower speed which helps to direct the leaves into the leaf catcher. Also, does not weigh much. Thus easy on the back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using STIHL products but their price was getting too high. Switched to ECHO and now have replace 3 stihl items. My ECHO products all are easy to start and perform as well if not better than the STIHL, and have no problems.
