Powerful trimmer attachment heavy duty great product

Easy to use, sharp blades, and the ability to change the angle of the cut is a back safer.

Great tool. Made trimming 100% easier. Very flexible.

Works great to trim on the ground level with head angled up. Works way better than my straight trimmer with head angled down to trim top on 10-12’ bush/tree from the ground. No more ladders. Plus with tool pushed straight up it’s much lighter than straight out on a ladder. Welcome addition to my yard tools.

Amazing, best ever, can’t be beat, stronger than gas

Let me start by saying I am a 79 year old man and not as physically fit as I used to be. That being said, this thing is heavy for me. I should have waited for the one with the carbon fiber shaft. I am using it to cut tough weeds and light brush around our property. A string trimer will do most of it but I spend a lot of time restringing. It does a good job and I am happy with it.

This device works as expected with the exception of the auto line feed. Advancing the line requires manual intervention. Simply squeezing the head releases the line to be pulled out by hand. The power is good. Despite the line out feed issue, I really like this trimmer/edger.

I was pleasantly surprised at the power generated by the battery and was pleased by the quality and ease of operation. Tools are quiet in comparison to gas powered equipment.

Item cuts great, no loss of power with battery option. Only drawback is the weight of the item when paired with the battery combo tool, especially when working over shoulder height.

I bought this to replace my gas trimmer and edger. I was hesitant because I was concerned about power and battery life. Not at all. There is plenty of power and I have yet to drain the battery.

Several years ago I bought the EGO mower. Loved everything about it. Bought the blower next. So impressed I purchased the chainsaw. This completes my collection. Tried out the edger the day after Christmas. Wow! As is typical for EGO products, it worked perfectly. So happy.

Easy to install and adjust. It does have a little weight, but that shows that it is built solid. Plenty of power for big jobs. Cut my side bushes in just a couple minutes with ease. Makes it simpler to use to trim regularly before the growth gets too long. The articulating head has plenty of adjustment zones to get the right angle.

Does the job well, but after a few uses even when drying the blades from moisture, the blades become stuck due to severe rusting, should have had an anti rusting cote during manufacturing process.

Hedge trimmer is easy to use. Due to the length doesn’t maneuver as easily as a standard trimmer. Using this minimizes the need to use a ladder when trimming tall shrubs and hedges. As the material states this will cut branches up to 1 inch thick. Excellent product.

Works really for pruning the tops of tall bushes such as holly.

Ease of use and has the power to get the job done.

My wife uses it for our hedge. The first time she used it, it was awkward and heavy. She eventually got the hang of it and feels it’s much better than standing on a ladder leaning over the hedge. Much safer concept!

Great trimmer for long reaches with extension pool.

Very easy to set up the multi-head combo kit: 15" string trimmer, 8" edger & power head. A bit of a learning curve to use the edger but that is on me and not the tool. It really takes some effort to create a sharp edge for the first time! Have not used the trimmer yet but am sure I will be happy with it as very similar to the first edger I have been using for 7 years! I was happily surprised to get a newer battery model when the listed description was for an older model!

Had this multi-tool edger and weedeater set for over a month. Have always been using gas powered yard tools for years and was skeptical about battery powered yard tools. But am very pleased with this Ego set. The power and performance rates as good as what my gas powered ones did. It takes on the the average of 2 hours to do my yard edging and weedeating. I’m surprised the 5.0 volt battery used less then half it’s charge each time I’ve done my yard.

this attachment has been great to use. Simple set up and the adjustments are straightforward and intuitive. The weight is not bad once you once you work with a bit and get used to controlling it and not fighting it. Only wished I had bought it sooner in the season, would have made a lot less work for me than using a corded hedge trimmer. Great tool!

Works greater then I expected. I use the trimmer on my bushes. I was able to trim down easily without much effort.

It’s a great trimmer! Cuts really good, it’s easy to connect but it is on the heavy side for managing.

Does a great job without having to get on a ladder. The ability to move the cutting head into different angles to a huge plus.

Awesome product - a little heavy I recommend the shoulder strap to help carry it easier.

The power of this unit is great! The battery seems to last a really long time also. Price is a little high but possibly worth it. The main problem I have found after a couple of uses is the weight of the unit. It is extremely heavy and makes a gas powered unit seem weightless. I was tired of fighting the gas units just to get them started and thought I’d try the electric unit. Would give this trimmer and edger a 5 if not for the weight of the unit.

After using the trimmer and edger for a couple months I am very pleased with it. It works well and so much easier to use that a gas trimmer or edger. I believe the EGO trimmer and edger perform equally to the gas trimmer and edger I was using.

Love my new multi-head combo kit. I was surprised by the power this tool packs! I previously used a Black and Decker 20v system. This EGO felt 10x more powerful! The 5 ah battery was enough to trim my lawn and edge my walk and driveway. The only drawback is that it is a bit heavy. I also got the shoulder strap, so that helped. Looking forward to buying other attachments.

This product produces great working results. The battery is on the heavy side but the run time is great.
