Giving the plastic time (I gave it several days) to warm and unroll on its own was key to my being able to install it by myself -- and I'm a senior citizen! I am most pleased with the product.

It does have indents from the chair rollers, but its not too bad. Might have to do with the carpet fiber height, but I think its not possible to not have indents on such an item after use. That's why the five stars. Initial issue is straightening it out - do like the instructions say. It is tough so you could get hurt if you try to force it. My previous one lasted about 6-7 years, but developed cracks at the indents. This one seems thicker and tougher. Lets see how this one goes.

Finally I got a durable chair mat for our carpet with thick pad. I have had it for 2.5 months, and it looks like new! Buying another one...

Sturdy and well built. Be warned that it is so strong and stiff that it takes a good bit of effort to get it unrolled for use.

Seems to be holding up for the month I have it. It does get light dimples below the seat rollers but is not causing and issue.

Very heavy duty! I should never have to worry about wheel indentations with this.

The mat is doing a great job on my carpeted home office floor. A few minutes in direct sun and it flattened out. It indents a little under the chair wheels, but the chair still rolls easily.

Was a little hard to get unrolled, also chair tends to sink into it a little ... So rolling to move the chair when sitting in it is a little tough at times.

Was just what we expected it to be and are well satisfied with it.

Chair mat is well made and of thicker material than last one I purchased.

Quality mat but they should provide the customer with the proper dimensions. A simple sketch would do. It would also be nice if it shipped Flat !

I am very disappointed at how the desk chair wheels sink into the mat. I'm 170# and the chair has double wide rollers. I searched for this particular mat from this manufacturer because I was replacing one I had for 20 years. The new mat is a little thinner but a lot softer and the wheels sink right in. It hasn't cracked yet but I'm sure it won't make it 20 years like the old one.

Haven't had time to assess the mat as it took over 2 weeks for it to unroll--even with using a hair dryer on it, as they suggested. Just got it in position yesterday so will see how it holds up.

Great product, far superior to those you can buy in the store. Chair glides like it is on glass now even on the high pile carpet. Would buy again.

Does not work very well on deep pile carpet like advertised.

This one really works great on my carpet and I have tried 3 others and returned them back they kept sliding but not this one its great.

yeah its made for use by heavy people on regular carpet but the cleats aren't long enough to keep it in place and it moves so I have to reposition it every couple days.

Buyer beware. This particular mat is thick. It is shipped in a rolled condition. The glass transition temperature of this material can be lower than 60C. If it ever reaches this temperature during storage after rolling, it will "set" or freeze into this shape. Once it's in this shape it is impossible to unroll. Ignore any youtube videos showing how easy it is to unroll. Won't happen.
