Part 1 Stated sink (still not installed) is matte black, and it is, but has small speckles per other reviews. Arrived well-packed and in tact. Too soon to recommend.

one counter installer told me that some people are experiencing cracking from hot water and such and at first I was worried. After using it I am extremely happy with this sink. It stays beautiful and clean without any scrubbing and is very stain resistant. I've poured boiling water in the sink and it has not affected anything. Great value for the money!

The sink is beautiful. It’s very deep and easy to wipe clean with a magic eraser.

Piece of junk sink! I placed the sink in the cut out over a half dozen times. Beware because it is heavier than most sinks! I caulked the underside and was ready to put it in place when it slipped from my right hand about one inch above the counter, The entire sink shattered. This is quartz sink is more fragile than it should be. I am out $550 because of a poorly constructed design. I do not recommend this sink, and I will never buy again!

I love how deep it is making it very convenient bto soak something if needed or have a lot of dishes they most definitely will fit. It's a such a nice look with the underneath style creating a seamless appearance between the sink and the countertop. This Elkay Quartz Classic Black Sink is just the Perfect size for any job . The single Bowl made it very easy for me to do my job and had plenty room to move around to clean each dish very well . Fitted my oversized pots as well made my after picnic dish clean ips very easy. The Elkay Quartz Classic Black Sinks is very easy to clean and its stain resistant . Also can handle heat , and scratch resistant as well . It's a pretty remarkable well made Sink safe up to eat to 535 * Fahrenheit, it , resist banging, chipping , liquid won't stick it or food , that's a plus for me and my big family of kids , Another thing I love about this Elkay Classic Sink is the OffSet Drain, gives you more space at the bottom of your drain and it smoother no drain port in the way . The Bowl to the sink is very deep super deep you can just about out any kitchen pot, dish you use . Great for me cause I love to bake and my pants fit great in it it's a great product and to me it will last a life time .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the undercount black sink. It makes it easier to clean around the edges of the sink, and I like having a single basin. The black is a nice classy color, and makes my cottage look nice and new. I used this in a cottage we are remodeling and this is a great added touch.

I purchased this sink to go under grey quartz countertops and with white cabinets. It is perfect! It's not completely white, but has a bit of speckling and blends perfectly with my color scheme. I did check very closely for cracks as others reported with this material of sink and found it in perfect shape. I've had it installed for about a week and am super happy with it. Drains well, looks beautiful, and I'm sure will last a long time.

Sink arrived in one piece, not cracked!! which is a major feat according to many construction guys I’ve talked to. I’m very pleased with matte appearance and quality of sink so far. Will be installed in a few weeks so will update once it’s used.

The sink itself gets 5 stars. The reason for three is it came with the wrong fasteners. Drove to HD where they charged me for what they said were the correct fasteners and they did not work either. Since I clearly needed a sink the only thing left was to rely on the silicone to hold the sink in place. Not very happy with that!

Easiest install I ever done flawless and replaced my old stainless steel in 1hour. Thanks

The photo shown is darker than the actual sink. Actual color is more of a medium dove gray. We should have opened the box as soon as we brought it home. We picked it up a couple months prior to installation, and didn't open it until our installer came....so it was too late to return it. I was SO bummed when we took it out of the box. Lesson learned, for sure! It is beautiful. But don't purchase if you're expecting more of a medium to dark charcoal gray.

The sink looks lovely, it was just installed a week or so ago. It is just being connected to the water supply and garbage disposal today as I type. So I can't truly review until I've used it to some degree. But I love the color and the texture. It's a huge improvement over the old stainless steel, at least visually.

We’re very happy with our new utility sink, really like the size of it and the depth. This is my second Elkay quartz sink, they’re beautiful.
