Based on the ATK recommendations, I find this ruler very useful in the kitchen.

Ruler is very deceiving tip is 1/8 off from tip 18 inches should be 18 inches

This is a really nice little ruler but it surprised me that there's only a 1 year warranty even with it being stainless steel but it should be fine.

I use this ruler to measure small parts for my RC trucks. It is stiff and easy to use when I need it. Alot of my parts need to have the ends at the right length to set the steering and linkage and this is perfect for that

I needed a metric ruler to measure the mm movements of my CNC. This ruler was perfect for my need.

Surprise, I bought it because I needed a piece of SS that size. It was very hard to drill so I would think it would make a very good scale!

My wife wanted an 18 inch stainless steel ruler for use in the kitchen, baking etc. Most are very flimsy and have a cork backing, which would not be good for use around food. This ruler has rulings on both sides and is appropriately stiff. I wouldn't have thought that I would find kitchen items at Home Depot, but they had just what we needed.
