Was having trouble sleeping in new house because of a crackling sound. HVAC guy came out and said it was the plastic registers. These seem to have done the trick. They are particularly longer ans more visible than the older ones and others. Would've been nice if they laid flush, but for a good night's sleep I can get past the aesthetics.

I couldn't use the included register vent screws because there was nothing to drive the screws into. So I applied a small amount of plumber's putty in each corner to hold the vent to the surrounding tile. Then I caulked around the perimeter of the vent. It looks great.

the register fit perfectly inthe vent opening. the only difference was that the holes for the screws were a fraction of an inch wider but that did not create much of a problem I am very satisfied with the end results.

It fit the opening well and looks great in the ceiling.
