They seem perfect until you install them. First the good: The claim of non-marking seems true. Also, the lock/brake actually locks the wheel in a firm, secure way unlike some competitors. Now for a very annoying con: They won't swivel when there's weight on them. I have 4 of them holding about 200 pounds, installed carefully on a level cabinet/workbench bottom. Because of this they skid when unlocked because they won't steer, unless I bend over and steer each wheel manually at each direction change. This happens on a very flat, smooth concrete floor where every competing swivel-caster steers and rolls as designed. Very aggravating; does not meet my expectations. I'll likely return them.

    Good quality wheel
I have these wheels supporting two big work benches I made. The brakes are high quality - I sit at these work benches all the time and do lots of strenuous work on the benches, and these wheels don't budge. I also really like the non-marking rubber on the wheel itself. It's great because I have one of those fancy textured epoxy garage floors and the wheels haven't given me any trouble with scuffing.

    Huge Improvement
The Everbilt Medium Duty Threaded Stem Caster with Brake are a huge improvement over the 3" caster I have been using. The racks these are on consistently carry 300-450 pounds. It takes two people to roll the racks with the other casters. With these casters, one person can easily maneuver a fully loaded rack over the concrete floor. I am seriously considering replacing all of the existing casters. Highly recommended.

    Poor quality
I used my cordless drill to tighten these caster wheel shaft on my stationary sander and the shafts completely bent. I'm assuming the shafts are made out of a very cheap metal there is no way in the world my cordless drill is that strong to where it would bend this shaft. It only happened to two of the four. I am assuming the shafts were not hardened steel. The sander only weighs about 100 pounds with four wheels that would be 25 pound per wheel. I guess I will take them back and buy the orange ones.
