This zinc-plated clamp and thimble set worked out great for my new sun shade. The shade didn't come with any hardware so I had to buy the cable and clamps on the side. I didn't use the thimble, but the clamps worked fantastic for coupling the wire together. It holds strong and hasn't seemed to slack or back off yet. Good product.

I used this to i stalk my sail shade in the back yard. I used this together with the Everbilt steel cable. Perfect for what I needed. Sturdy materials and it stays in place just like I need it to be when the wind blows on the shade.

Did exactly what I was looking for to secure the cable for the string lights. Would recommend.

They definitely work but the screws and thimble rust. I use them on my screen house around a salt water pool. We are also about a mile from the beach. I couldn’t find SS one in this size These are my second purchase in a year and they definitely do the job.

So I was doing my own stair railing, found out from my inspector, that my railing wasn't up to code and therefore he failed me! So in order to correct this issue I bought some 3/32" coated wire along with these clamps. Problem solved, now just waiting on my final inspection again!

Bought several to make tie downs and the nuts stripped with two or three fingers pressure on a 1/4" drive ratchet. Do not waste your money!

They work just fine. The castings aren't perfect and have some flashing sticking out on the sides, but it's no big deal and if you want it to look better you can grind them down.

These things are junk, most of the threads would strip before you get close to being tight. I replaced them with better ones bought at the hardware store

This seems like a good product, however the screws and bolts do not match properly and cause the nuts to stripe out easy and in turn are lost within hours of installation. When we finally found one that did tighten it snapped in the middle with very little pressure as the wire we were assembling was not even touching each other yet. The product quality is poor at best and one to avoid until they get this major manufacture defects fixed.
