I used a stamping set to make tags for the 50 plus rhododendrons that we have planted in our yard. It takes a little practice to be sure the stamp is properly aligned to ensure that when I would strike the stamp the letter would come out sharp and clear and the same depth over the entire letter or number. It is something I got a feel for fairly quickly. All in all, I was very happy with the results and I am sure these stamped aluminum tags will last a long long time.

This is a section of aluminum flat bar, it is good quality. It measures one sixteenth inch thick by one half inch wide by thirty six inches long. I got it to use to make light duty braces for home projects. It can be bent to your desired shale, or it can be cut to any size. It can be drilled easily, use variable speed drill and drill at lower speed, make sure the aluminum piece is well secured to prevent twisting as the drill goes through the metal.

The Everbilt 1/2” x 1/16” x 36” aluminum flat stock was as expected. It is a non-heat treated class of aluminum stock that is softer and less stiff for general purpose use. I like to have spare stock available in my shop and obtained this piece to fix my barbecue grill. It had blown over during a recent high wind storm and the thin sheet-steel wing had broken/torn at the corner. This is the wing on the end of the grill that is picked up when moving it around on its wheels. This particular piece of aluminum stock ended up being a little too thin and not wide enough, so I used my piece of 1/8” thick Everbilt aluminum stock of the same grade. After cutting to length and width, I bent it to 90 degrees to fit into the broken corner. I was able to locate, drill, and use one existing threaded hole and fastener on the grill, and then drilled three additional holes and fastened those with nuts and machine screws. The repaired/reinforced corner is now stronger than the original thin steel. Using aluminum for the repair made the bending and drilling easier, and no painting afterwards to avoid rust. I frequently need material like this to accommodate modifications I do to a wide variety of things. This bar can be used as a bracket, extension, or even a hoop if desired. It is easy to bend so do not expect it to carry much weight especially in the thin direction. A few pounds may be even too much. It is drilled easily to allow use of machine screws, sheet metal screws and rivets up to about 3/16" max. 1/8" would be best. I used a very similar product to stiffen a very flimsy plastic grill on a window AC unit. I twisted the metal at each end by 90 degrees for fastening so that the width would be providing a stiffer reinforcement to the grill. It's made in India.

Used the aluminum flat bar to secure the rubber seal to the outboard motor cowling. Current contact cements do not work that well and additional methods are necessary. Easy to bend to shape and hold with rivets and still look good. I beveled the lower edge in spots after installation as I have a die grinder and metal cutting bits. This way the square edge does not hit the lip when you slip it into place. I would advise you to do it first if you do not have the grinder & bit.

These bars were just the right size for my latest project. Our dog kept pushing out the screen at the bottom of our bedroom screen door. I rivetted three of these bars about the bottom of the screen door about 3 inches apart. Stopped our dog from pushing out the screen. Worked well.

I used this thinner flat bar as a drawer glide in antique chest with worn rough drawer case.

Not really as ordered. I ordered it in 1/8 inch, and they supplied me with 1 at the size I ordered and 2 at 1/16 which I made work even though it was wrong
