I replaced a insinkerator badger 1/3 hp with this one and WOW big difference stronger and quieter and the main reason I decided to buy this one because is in stainless steel with 10 years of warranty for just 30 dollar more. the badger I replaced rust inside.

SUMMARY: NICE DISPOSAL THAT FIT PERFECTLY BACKGROUND: We needed to replace an old disposal that had gone bad. The Everbilt was the same horsepower rating so we decided to get it. FIT AND FINISH: The unit looks good, and all the hardware was sturdy. INSTALLATION: This was the quickest and easiest disposal replacement I’ve ever done. The instructions for installation are remarkably well-written. The twist-on lower mount ring is a standard configuration, so I didn’t have to remove the sink mount for the previous disposal, I was just able to lift the disposal into position and lock into the old mount. There was a slight issue attaching the main drain. The outer disposal housing had rotated slightly around the motor unit, so the left side machine screw could not tighten the flange. I was able to twist the housing back so the flange would seat. (See photos.) The dishwasher input hose attached to the disposal without any problem. The main drain was exactly the same size and position as the old unit, so I didn’t have to buy a replacement tailpiece. The disposal comes with a short power cord with a 3-prong plug which is long enough to reach almost any under-sink outlet in a standard sink cabinet. OPERATION: Once it is installed the unit is operated with the disposal switch. It is as quiet as any disposal I have used. SUMMARY: FIT MY NEEDS COMPLETELY

This is a quiet machine and for the most part, does a good job of getting rid of scraps. The issue I have is the water will not drain into the disposal very quickly. I think I'm going to have to cut some slits into the plastic piece going into the drain and then it should work.

After waiting one week for delivery, it arrived broken. They mailed it in its original box without additional protection and tried to blame the shipping company. The plastic top/mid section is plastic and the original box does not have any padding for the plastic areas so it easily broke. I called Home Depot's support number for a replacement and was told I need to take this back to the store and order another one. Not very helpful when my plumbing is open and ready for the new disposal.

Installation was easy and the unit works super quietly and efficiently. There were comments about poor water drainage through the splash guard, but this was just surface tension of the water. It actually drains continuously. If it does seem to back up, then just cut a little off of the guard like another reviewer did. The unit does make a crack at startup, but only if you’re not running water—which you should do anyway.

Product was easy to install, very powerful and work great! All features work as advertised would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking to replace their garbage disposal.

It works really well and doesn’t make much noise at all like the other usual garbage disposals. This one is a winner.

DONT BUY-iT DOESNT GRIND THINGS UP ALL THE WAY LIKE IT SHOULD LIKE AN INSINKERATOR. I WILL RETURN AND BUY WHATS REPUTABLE!!

Works great. We replace an older Everbilt and this one is larger and quieter. It was a little tricky to install. The problem was aligning the bolts and twisting it to lock into place from under the sink. Definitely a 2 person job. Regardless, once it was installed it is MUCH better and quieter than the older model; which, by the way, was over 20 years old. We ordered online and Home Depot had it within a week, contacted us that it was ready, and it was quick pickup. I would recommend this disposal and using the online ordering process.
