It was missing a part

This switch looks identical to the original switch I had on my sump pump, so I figured it would work just as well. It certainly does! And the install was pretty simple too so long as there’s sufficient space to maneuver your hands around in the sump well. Can’t speak to switch’s duration as I’ve only had it for about 3 weeks. Previous switch lasted 3-4 years, and other switches have lasted about 6. Will hopefully get the same life from this one.

It works, hope it lasts longer than the original.

This switch was bought to replace the same switch purchased and installed about 2 years ago. The new one was installed in few minutes and is working ok. Hopefully it continues to work longer than the previous one.

Worked perfectly. Gives plenty of float height adjustment by clamping it to discharge pipe.

works great, easy to install

The unit purchased has one electrical cord linking it to the pump.Unfortunately, the pump, being an older unit had two cords, one to the pump and electrical, the other to the float switch. Of course I plugged the float switch into the electrical but the unit would not work without the older unit connected to the pump. I jerry rigged it so that it works but it is rather crammed with two float switches down in the well.

The float is non adjustable another float stop would allow a quicker turn on and finer adjustment .

This was a replacement

The attachment bracket did not match my sump pump. Required significant ingenuity to fashion a mounting scheme in order to use the switch.

Complete waste of money. Cheap plastic. Replaced second one to fail within 2 months of warranty ending. Last one got stuck twice during normal operation. Props to their engineers for getting planned obsolescence almost perfect though.

Used to put on another brand of pump when it’s float switch stopped working. A little alteration to old bracket and this one fit. Better than buying whole new pump.

Purchased to fit in a narrow pipe/sump and it works great. This mechanical switch works much better than the twin sensor electrical switch it replaced - no grounding/fault errors.

Works as stated. However working range is only about 3.5 inches. Unit should have a longer rod but not offered.

Had a previous float switch go and this was alot cheaper than buying a whole new sump pump. Its been about a month now and its still working great. Took about 10 min to put in and very easy to do.

This was the perfect substitution I needed in a sump basin. An extra expense, but that it's a float switch that attaches to the discharge pipe means I control the depth of what's inside much easier than using the tethered float switch that came with the pump. I just wish the guide rod was longer.

Was easy to install and works great

I bought one of these a couple years ago to replace a failed float switch of a different design. I liked the way this one worked, right up until it failed in the switch=on state. This is apparently overpriced garbage, just like the rest I've had.

Total fail by associate who recommended this item. It never would have worked.
