I bought a pair of these for a fascia replacement project on my home. Very comfortable glove but after five days the re-enforced finger tips are either totally gone or torn. They simple don't hold up to work.

Comfortable. The material is thick enough to protect you but thin enough to let you position small screws and do other delicate things. We wore them the whole time we resurfaced a large floating boat dock.

They might be alright for light duty work, but anything heavy duty will torch them really fast. I picked up a pair of these when I was doing some concrete demolition. As you can see in the attached photos, after about 8 hours of use (over about 3 days), I had worn through the thumb and index finger of both hands and the middle finger on another. Backs of the gloves was in decent shape, but that's about it.

These gloves are great. They're comfortable, actually fit my hands and aren't bulky. I used them pretty heavily for about 8 months before I needed to replace them; they still could have been used but I got mulch in them and couldn't get the tiny pokey pieces out. A few of the finger tips wore down but that's because I grated them against a sifter while removing dirt from sod. I rinsed them a few times to remove dirt and they came out pretty clean. I liked them so much that I replaced the mulchy ones with new ones.

We use these on a daily basis as we handle a lot of granite monuments. They hold up very well in wet & dry conditions. The fit is also very good & they don't feel bulky between the fingers.

Gloves fit perfectly. The only complaint is that they do not last long. I have had them for about a month and I have holes and the finger tips are peeling away.

Great glove. I use it for basic handyman stuff. It's not going to last forever, but it's comfortable and I maintain flexibility - which to me are most important - while the glove still provides good protection.

Good gloves. The fit and dexterity is excellent. Durability is pretty good. For general purpose work I think they are great. If you're going to be doing some extremely rough work like masonry, then you might need something more heavy duty. But these are good for general tasks.

These gloves are great for construction and other tasks around the house. I love that I could buy smalls that fit my hands. They don't slide around and I can easily grip tools.

Great item- save my husband's hands!! Now our backyard is perfect!
My husband was working on our Hawaiian style patio-in Illinois! His other gloves got a hole in them while doing the patio with concrete pavers and sand... He still has the gloves-and the patio is done as well as tropical flowers done-and Bamboo accents! These hold up great!

          Dissolve in water
Didn't use these gloves too much but the fingers started to fall apart after the slightest exposure to moisture. They look good and fit well, but the materials are not durable enough.

Grips firm, just not where it should
I hate using these gloves, and would not purchase another set, nor recommend anyone else does. Second use and the inside lining on both gloves pulled out when I took my damp hands out, apparently they don't attach the fingertips of the linings to the main gloves. Now, it takes 5 minutes every time I put them on to get the finger lining back into place, and the pinky lining never gets fully back to where it belongs. About all I can really say is that the price isn't bad, and maybe poor construction is why.

            Throwing Good Money Away!
Had the gloves for two weeks and the one glove started to develop a hole in the index finger. The irony is that it's not even at a pressure point. Save your money and pick another higher quality brand.

            Don't buy ; bad quality
First feel is OK, however after a days regular work, finger tips are worn.

Favorite but quality could be better
These are my favorite cloves for fit, the small med and large are pretty accurate. The downside, the way I used gloves must be different than whoever they make them for because I can only get 3-4 weekends work from them before the stitching gives way. I would love it if they could get them to be a bit more rugged, but keep the dexterity.

              very nice
I was deciding between these and another which were cheaper. However I got these because it looked like they had better quality and it would last longer. definitely satisfied, would recommend to anyone doing heavier yard work.

waste of money - breaks easily
this is my second pair and they are just simply junk. The first pair wore quickly too but I thought it was how I was using them. Boy, was I wrong. On both pairs, the finger stitching fell apart and the "fake suede leather" fingers wore through. When you're on the job, you want your tools to work right and not fail. These gloves fell apart during a simple drain clearing job - not the time you want your hands exposed to the foul drain waste. So weak the couldn't last the friction of pulling the drain auger. They were in fine shape before I started and I expected them to at least make it through this simple low impact task. Never buy this brand again.

                  Burn/Rash on wrist
Wore these gloves while building a retaining wall. The fingers wore through really quickly and left holes in the left index and thumb. Doesn't really matter as I will not be using them again as they left a painful red rash/burn with blisters on both of my wrists.

The gloves are worth the money
They fit well, and are durable and you don't lose sensitivity of touch like with lots of other work gloves that fit loosely, even leather gloves. the wrist strap ads stability. I can do woodworking with high speed motor shop tools like a jointer/planer and not worry about the glove getting snagged or not having enough sensitivity of touch, and I"m protected from splinters, jamming fingers, or getting cut. I've used them already while installing a new HD ceiling fan, replacing screen mesh, and working on picture frames, etc.

                  An Achilles’ Finger?
I’ve used several varieties of the Firm Grip glove line. Everything from the three glove value pack (a very good deal) to the pricier rubberized surface ones. These appear to be their middle-of-the-line apply named General Purpose gloves for just under $10. Let’s start with the good. The materials and overall construction are good. Lots of double stitching where need and I like the Velcro wrist band which keeps the gloves on tight. But this is the second pair of these gloves which present a weakness. For some reason the middle, ring, and to a lesser extent pinky finger of the left hand glove rotate to the right. It causes the weak side material to land on the grip surface (pad) of my finger. This side material just doesn’t hold up and soon develops a tear. Next thing I know my finders are poking out of the glove. It doesn’t matter if I put on the glove and carefully line up the working surface to my fingers – within a minute the finder ends have rotated. And it’s only doing it to the left glove. I even asked a coworker to try them out and he found the same problem so it’s not something weird about my hand. Maybe some kind of misalignment in the machinery? Bottom line until they fix this problem I’m not buying any more of the General Purpose gloves.

                  I love these gloves!
I have a hard time finding work gloves that fit. These are fabulous -- they fit, they stretch, they are washable. They wear well and are not expensive. There is NOTHING I would change about them.

Should be classified as 'Light Duty'
I purchased these gloves because I was working on my parent's house and had left my gloves at home. I've purchased similar gloves several times in the past, with little to complain about. However, after just a couple of days of work, the stitching started to come undone. Not sure if it's a quality control issue or a design issue, but it's very disappointing. I would not buy them again. I'd rather pay a little more for better quality.

Decent value but not long lasting
These are comfortable gloves. Fit was great. Good flexiblity. They did the job, just not for long enough. I mainly wear these for doing yard work and they wore out midway through this summer. The leather on one thumb and finger got holes in them. I've had all-leather gloves last better than this. I guess for $10 gloves I shouldn't expect much more than that but I am disappointed that HD merchandise is not better quality.
