Very cheap. Flanges are terrible and hold by friction. Will be very hard to remove. Not sure how it is possible to make bad shower curtain rod.

I ordered 2 rods and BOTH were delivered with NO mounting brackets or hardware. One was in a torn up box and the other no box at all--just a zip-tied label. Steel rods look nice and finish looks good, but useless without mounting brackets. One was in a torn up box and the other no box at all. Returned both to store. Have to reorder and wait and pray the next order is better. This is a HOME DEPOT PROBLEM, not necessarily a product problem. Come on Home Depot you need to do better!

Normally I shop at a competitor. But, HomeDepot had the curtain rod we have been searching for..... Product was exactly what we needed to complete our bathroom renovation. However, when package arrived the box was split open in the center. The internal box housing the curtain rod was crushed at two places... When the contractor placed the curtain rod in the now secured wall flanges, we noticed that the curtain rod was slightly bent. He could not secure the curtain rod. Getting another rod has delayed the completion of our renovation project. This was my first online order with HomeDepot and it may be my last.

Looks good but had to overcome challenges: First of all there are no directions shipped with the rod and hardware; you have to go online. When I went online to the product I purchased, the directions were for a different, curved bar. I had to look for a similar product in a different finish. Directions are also not very clearly written. Second, and most important, was that when I screwed the wall flanges to the shower wall, they were flush mounted. Because the cover flanges need an overlap of at least 1/16" they would not stay on. I had to add washers behind the wall flange in order to position it 1/16" from the wall. Luckily I had some laying around or else I would have had to go to the store and purchase them. Not sure why some reviews said "easy to install." It took me almost 2 hours and I'm pretty handy. Recommend for handy person only.

So glad I checked the box prior to installation day. There was only a pole enclosed. No end pieces or hardware. No thanks!

This shower rod is very good quality and the brushed nickel looks great It took whoever HP uses to deliver material to the store 3 times before it was received without damage so it took a lot more time for me to receive my order

Was delivered with no mounting hardware,the only part that arrived was the bar only, returned it.

Nice shower rod. I trimmed it with an angle grinder with a cut off wheel.

Exactly what I needed which turned out to be strangely difficult to find! Was cut to size and has been in use for about a month. Matches all other brushed/satin nickel pieces in the bathroom

Like other reviews here I received damaged goods with no hardware at all (rod only). The shower rod was delivered in clear plastic over wrap, zero protection for shipping. The rod is bent in an arc. On the positive side the metal used for this rod does seems to be of a heavy enough gauge to hold up to normal use. I'm returning and reordering for store pickup hoping that may be a better way of getting this undamaged with all of its parts. Come on Home Depot hire some people that care!

I cut this down for a stand-up shower stall. Must be decent metal as it took the hacksaw a while. I did not need to use any spacing washers to get the end cups to snap on. I do wish they included plastic drywall anchors, but I had some that fit the included screws. Seems like nice quality. Time will tell how rust proof it is.

Returned as one end & hardware missing. UPS delivered with one end ripped. Was told via one-line chat, could return to UPS store without paying for box. Woman @ UPS absolutely refused, said we'd have to buy a box. Not a good experience!

Ship to store order and someone should check with the Winston-Salem NC facility as to who put this item out for delivery. It was clearly a return, not in original packaging. The cardboard box was patched together with extra cardboard and so much tape that one end of the rod arrived with sticky tape residue. The hardware was missing. And the rod was bent in two places. The condition of the cardboard and the lack of the hardware indicates this was an origination problem not UPS handling.

This was exactly what I needed. Don’t try to order for delivery. I had to return it twice because the torn package came with no hardware. Ordered for pickup and it was fine.

Only the pole government as sent, no end caps or hardware. Not useful that way.
