Cooling tower collects water and freezes the fan to where it will not spin. The cold air is pools at the bottom of the freezer which produces an issue where the top of the freezer is 40 degrees warmer than the bottom. Recommend to avoid this product.

Frigidaire freezer 20 cf. The only thing I didn’t like is not having an extra tray. Stacking food has a tendency to fall out when retrieving items

I bought this product 2 months ago but I have noted that there is a buildup of frost in the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this freezer to replace a 30yr old upright freezer we had been given from a family member, with a new baby in the house freezer space for milk was a must and much too precious to trust the old freezer. This new one is just as big but almost silent. The led lighting, modern design, and customizable shelving made it well worth the price. Hope this one last like the old one.

It is a real plus having a well lit freezer, making locating specific items super easy. I did not realize that the deep freezing capabilities of this freezer were sooo COLD!!! Amazing!!! You can hear the suctioning after closing the door. I am very pleased with this freezer!!! It is remarkable!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this upright freezer a little over a month ago and it has performed flawlessly so far. It has done an excellent job of maintaining the temperature without any frost/ice buildup. I had read the reviews prior to buying this particular model and was somewhat concerned since there were several reviewers that shared issues they encountered, but I'm glad to say that this is working great for me. I have bought Frigidaire products in the past and have been very happy with them over the years, so I was banking on my past experience when I pulled the trigger. I like the layout with the adjustable wire shelving and the bottom basket, and the door storage works great for smaller items. The interior light does it's job well so I can easily see what I have. One thing that struck me as unusual was that it seemed to be running most of the time: I thought at first that the door gasket may have been compromised since I flipped the hinges so that the door opened from the right side but when I inspected the seal everything was great. I was getting ready to contact Customer Service when I double-checked the operation manual and it states that freezer has an energy efficient variable speed compressor and is designed to run more frequently to save energy. I have to say saving energy / $ seems like a good idea to me, and as I mentioned it is performing great so everything is good on that count. Swapping the hinges so that the door opened from right to left was easy to do and took me about 10 minutes by myself once I grabbed my tools. The door is light so it's easy to handle, and the instructions for doing the hinge swap are very good and easy to follow. The only speedbump I encountered was one screw head stripping out, but fortunately for me I have a fair selection of hardware and was able to come up with a replacement screw. For the price, it offers the largest storage capacity and is also rated for the garage, which is where I have mine located. Based on my experience to date I would recommend this freezer to anyone looking for a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this, until it would not freeze anymore. Still under warranty as it was purchased in January of this year. We live in a rural area, so we are waiting for a service call….still waiting. Had to give away or throw out everything in the freezer as we had no room to store anything salvageable. So disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our plan was to get the next size down but it was on back-order so we decided to go with this one. So glad we did! There's room to easily store items in inexpensive plastic baskets, making it easy to find whatever you need. The door requires a bit of a tug to open but I'd rather that than one that might not close securely and lose everything.

I bought it new on december after 3 month its start to do high noise like train and start melt from top to bottom i keep calling them the first time they send tecnition to determined whats wrong it take me 4 month untile know its didnt work every one came cant find whats rong with it there is no tool to replace the broken one they refuse to replace it and i lost food more than 500$ i hope this company close soon and no one be in my place

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a little over two months. Last month a repair guy had to come out and replace parts for a known problem of the fan freezing up. Water runs by the fan when it defrost and then freezes and the fan is then stuck in a block of ice. It is now a month after that repair and it is happening again. Everything is getting mushy in the freezer. DO NOT BUY THIS! fridgidaire needs to fix their design flaws.

I had perfect chest that worked very well for years that we out grew. Decided to try this upright freezer because of much larger size and ease of storage. Purchase date was Dec. 14th 2020. Mid, Feb 2021 Food started unthawing. I had throw all food away. Had to clean freezer. Waited at lest 2 weeks for parts to fix a known design flaw to be delivered. Early Mar. 1st Technician visited and fixed issue. Early May, Another freezer full of food had to discarded. Had to clean freezer. Had Waited 2+ weeks on for different kit of modified parts to fix a known design flaw. All racks starting to show rust. On June 30th 2021, Tech arrived and installed fix #2. Decided to place a cup full of water to test fix before buying more food. Cup froze but on morning July 1st noticed the light blinking. Now cup full of cold water. Again, back on phone for 30 mins waiting for Customer No Service. This no Freezer has been not been freezing for at least 3 of the 6 months since purchasing in Dec 2020.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a chest freezer for 14 years and hated it. Constant rotation of items inside still leave things buried. You can’t see what you have and often buy things you don’t need. I finally got the 20c ft. Upright and am so thankful. It takes no more floor space possibly even less. Now I can see EVERYTHING that’s stocked in the freezer and even sort by shelf. (Pork / chicken / beef, etc.). But here’s where it saved me right after arrival, 3 days after the freezer was delivered my side by side kitchen refrigerator died without warning I had so much space in this freezer it easily held everything my kitchen full size freezer had in it too! I felt blessed and thankful. Wish I’d had this 14 years ago.

It arrived damaged, obviously happened in the factory because the packaging over the big dent in the corner wasn’t damaged. Electrolux sent out a replacement. The delivery company wouldn’t even bring it to my house because it was damaged worse than the first one and wouldn’t even work. I don’t understand how Electrolux can make any money if they have to make 3 freezers to get one that’s not damaged. And, I still don’t have an undamaged freezer, so who knows how many more times this will happen?

This freezer is great. You can switch the door to open from either left or right. Plenty of space. My only gripe is the magnetic seal is way too string. Trying to open the door via the door handle just pulls the freezer around. You have to pry the door open with your fingers, along the seal instead.

I’m just in Love with this New freezer I’ve wanted an Upright Freezer for some time now but could never find just the right one…but this one is it for me I holds Tons of food!! Plus I still have two other refrigerators that are picked also we cook a lot and I Love to entertain and make cooking videos @ The Pajama Cook on YouTube.

Bought and upright Frigidaire freezer 20.cb in Feb. and use it about two weeks, have and still have frozen food at two houses still waiting. Found out I had to deal with Electrolux people and its been a fight. They finally sent another company to inspect freezer said its un repairable, I'm, still waiting.

I purchased this unit from Home Depot and and had it delivered the end of April 2020. So I've only had it for 1yr and just under 2 months. Unit lights blinking, food defrosted and alarm sounding so called the factory and turns out the compressor is shot (so just enough time to eclipse the factory warranty). With parts and labor it costs more to fix it then just buying a new one. So if you are in the market to throw money away and buy a brand new freezer every 14 months, then this is for you. Pure junk and will never purchase another Frigidaire product again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this freezer for about a month. It was very convenient to load. It also has a good light for the interior. When I got it I set the thermostat at the center recommended position. After the initial cool down, it has maintained a consistent -10° temperature. Very pleased with it's performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the pandemic hit, it was so difficult to find fresh meats and chicken at the market. The times I was able to find food, I bought very little because of limited freezer room in my refrigerator. It was a health risk to venture out food shopping so often. Now, each time I go in the basement, I see this beautiful upright freezer that sits quietly safeguarding our food! PROS: 20.0 cu. is a huge amount of space! 4 spacious wire shelves which I happen to prefer over glass because it’s better for cold air flow. 5 generously sized door buckets! It’s perfect for storing jars or slender items that may not sit right on the wire shelves. Huge basket at the bottom to hold whatever you want from 2 large turkeys to packages of bread (like us). What I also love about the inside is that LED light, it’s so bright and well placed. The moment you open the door, the light shines wide over everything! The freezer is equipped with a power indicator light at the bottom, it quickly lets me know it’s on and operational which I think is brilliant. The door is reversible and easily pulled open from either side. I love this other great feature…it has these adjustable feet! I was able to raise the front a tiny bit higher than the rear to make sure that when anyone opens the freezer, the door would surely swing back closed. CONS: I don’t have any serious criticism of this freezer as of yet, I’ve only had it one month. But if I could change something, I’d like to have just the last shelf that’s above the basket, to be glass rather than wire. I’m not sure what happened to the folks with the negative reviews, I don’t doubt their issues were valid. The freezer I got is fantastic and I do recommend it. When my freezer was delivered, I wiped it down inside and out, then left it plugged in for 24 hours at the recommended setting. The temperature is perfect, the food is frozen solid, ice-cream is excellent too! I think it’s best to read the manual thoroughly prior to using your new freezer. You’ll definitely avoid silly mistakes and costly repairs. Overall, I’m very happy and satisfied with my Frigidaire freezer. Now, I don’t have to worry about constant shopping anymore, or having to over stuff my limited refrigerator. One of the best investments yet.

So far so good. Quiet, good looking and easy adjustable shelves.
