Terrible product
Top latch on the door had issues. Two months into owning it the machine stopped working. Service call fixed it for all of a day. I didn't use it often so now one year warranty has expired. I'm trashing it and replacing it with an LG.

    Horrible Product
    Eight years ago I bought the previous model of this same GE dishwasher. Five years it broke. I foolishly bough another. Three years in it is now broken. This is the last GE product I buy.

      Haven’t even had this dishwasher for 4 years and it broke 3 times. We replaced the UI board 3 times and main circuit board once, only lasted 3 days. We will never buy GE again!

        Stopped working
        The machine is less than two years old and already doesn’t work. When I attempt to start the cycle the machine just makes a humming noise and doesn’t start. Or the machine will run for 10 minutes and start making humming sound then turns off.

            Garbage. Don’t waste your money
            Dishwasher goes dead regularly. Started after one year of being brand new. I have to go under it and unplug the main board to reset it every time I use it. Complete garbage. GE isn’t what they used to be…

                Garbage
                The only good thing about this dishwasher is how quiet it is. We had it for less than 2 years and the thing has so many issues that the warranty company couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Stay away from this dishwasher.

                  Not even a year old just went dead. I had to find the registration card to get model number and serial number, which brought me here. Guess I’ll rate their customer service next…

                      Doesn't last. Piece of Junk!!
                      Purchased in 04/2021, in June of 2022 we started having trouble with the door not locking, finally in December we had to literally tape the door shut in order to use the dishwasher.

                            Cleans well
                            The front surface is difficult to keep clean and the rows on the bottom only hold so many bowls. I wish there were additional rack positions. But the wash cycles are plenty and it cleans beautifully.

                              Bad product lasted 2 1/2 years!
                              This product only lasted 2 1/2 years. The price to repair it is about the price for a new one. Thanks for nothing!

                                PIECE OF JUNK!!!
                                Had our house built two years ago and this was the dishwasher that came standard with our home. Throughout the years the dishwasher would act a little funny here and there, and the dishes would not get fully clean (even when filters were clear). Well, about three days ago, we tried to wash some dishes and the dishwasher would not come on. All troubleshooting for the machine has been attempted, and it is completely DEAD! Looking for a new dishwasher now and it will NOT, be a GE!

                                    Died after 1.5 years
                                    I am so disappointed in this dishwasher. Stopped working the other day, had a repair guy come out to say this is a known issue with GE… the top and bottom internal boards don’t communicate with each other and will need to be replaced. Tried resetting in a last effort to no avail. Will cost 535 to fix!!! We just bought in June 2021 for $638! I bought because I thought GE was a good brand. So disappointed— repair guy said to stay away from all slate colored dw’s because he sees this issue A LOT

                                        16 months old and no longer working properly
                                        My dishwasher started reading FTD(failure to drain). After trouble shooting we were able to get it to run a cycle and then again FTD. This went on multiple times. It was very hit and miss whether it woupd work. Now it's just pretending to run a cycle. It was stuck on 105 minutes for hours as the pump just continued working but nothing else was going on. I'm lost at what to do and I'm appalled GE is supplying such cheap products. Now the dishwasher is discontinued and I can only image why

                                          Stopped working w/ less than 100 cycles 2 yrs old.
                                          This unit was purchased less than 2 years ago and has had limited use. Last month it started stopping mid-cycle and tripping the breaker. We had a technician diagnose the issue as the control board (part for repair is backordered for 1 month +.) Reading the issue's below in the reviews it appears the manufacturer is aware of this issue, yet I had not been notified with any quick-fix options prior to the destruction of the product I purchased. I would hope GE would like to rectify this immediately, so I do not need to use other avenues to hold them accountable of my loss.

                                            It had to be replaced within 2 years
                                            We had installed in our new house this dishwasher two years ago. Stopped working. Service technician came out four times in two months, replaced parts, still did not work. Finally, had to replace entire dishwasher. Will NOT buy GE again.

                                                Great look ! Poor Quality.
                                                This dishwasher quit on me after a short time if using it, and I rarely used it. The electronic functions will not power on. I understand things happen but when the warrenrt people cancel on you 2 times with out even giving you a call, my confidence goes away. I don't recommend purchasing, however, if you do, make sure that you get a warranty and a extended warranty.

                                                  Dishwasher is tripping the breaker every wash right at month 13 of ownership. This means no more warranty and need to purchase a new unit. If you don’t mind resetting the breaker and restarting the dishwasher this is the mode for you!

                                                        I like the washer but I do not like the grey Interior although I know it is popular color for the times. I would prefer a white interior of my old machine, you can see better and I am old.

                                                          I don't enjoy when I open a dishwasher and everything is soaking wet and in pools of water. This one has the steam option so that doesn't happen!
