Terrible
Brand new installation in a new home. Water leak drip from beneath the disposer and has ruined a brand new kitchen cabinet. 100% certain water is leaking from inside the disposer to the outside.
I've previously used MANY GE disposers for decades with NO issues and no leaks. For the record, I'm a GE retiree. Very disappointed.

Mine broke
I was happy with this until it broke. I bought mine in Dec 2021, and in Jan 2023 the impeller broke making it unbalanced and loud when spinning. The online description and owner's manual both say, "Peace of mind with a 5-year limited warranty." When I contacted GE Appliance Service at 1800 432 2737 for service, they argued with me that this unit only has a 1 year warranty. Still, why would this break in just over 1 year??

Not as expected
Expecting a quieter operation then the replaced GE 1/3hp but not by much. Low quality splash guard, permitted water to splash back, replaced with old splash guard.

Installation of Product
The Disposal is very quiet for a 3/4hp motor. The instructions recommend not using plumbers putty. This is probably accurate if you have a flush mount sink. Our sink has a flange ring. Needless to say I had to use plumbers putty to get a seal that didn't leak. Make sure that you connect the discharge pipe before you mount the Disposal. I dropped a screw into the plastic housing and had to remove it and get the gasket set screw out. The Disposal also does not come with a strain relief grommet for the power cord. It an additional trip to the hardware store was required for this additional part. It would have been nice if a rubber grommet was provided for the mounting of the power cord.

The garbage disposal was big and it was very costly to be putting in over $200 for a garbage disposal is ridiculous and I had a hard time trying to even see if I could get a discount because I ordered it online so it's installed but I had to pay another $200 to have it installed so to buy the garbage disposal and have it installed cost me 425

Not Durable; bad design
Had for only 3 years and started leaking from underneath. The hole on the metal flange that secures the discharge elbow too large and difficult to align without leaking. Installation for under sink mounting is not standard. Splashed up a lot.

Poor Execution
Really can't say anything negative about the quality and seems like it is priced for value, however the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Everything went well until I tried to mount under the sink. GE decided to do their own thing with the mounting assembly design...what a cluster! I worked for at least 30 minutes trying to get the mounting tabs to engage with the mounting ring but it wasn't happening no matter the amount of upward force exerted. Returned and exchanged for an Insinkerator Badger 900 which was super easy to install. Would have saved me a few hours had a gone with this one in the first place.

Too early to decide
Though I thought the instructions were clear, my plumber had trouble with the sink flange and found the easy mount was not that that easy to actually mount. The product is much quieter than the decade old Kenmore and makes short work of small scraps. Makes an odd high pitch sound when it is about done, but seems OK.

Looks Good
Installation took less than 45 min, that time includes removing my old disposal, very easy for the DIY person. I have not had an opportunity use it but a couple of days so I am limited to information on how well it works over time, it is quiet.

Quiet but Powerful
