[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Z-Wave Plus Smart Lamp Dimmer was so easy to set up, I just plugged my lamp into the side of the dimmer then plugged the dimmer into the outlet. It has a button on the top to turn the device and connect it to the app I downloaded to my phone. It can be controlled from any cell or mobile device I own as long as I have the app installed. I can turn the lights on from just about anywhere and I can set the timer to turn them on. It's great to have!

Great switch. I have recently gone nuts with the Zwave stuff and this product is great. When I added it, it showed up as an on/off only so this is not a dimmer but an on/off switch. There are plenty of times when this is exactly what you want because if you are hooking this up to a fan or something you only want on and off and no dim so you dont damage the equipment. Either way a great product and added easily.

This plug in smart switch is pretty cool, and a nifty device for someone that isn't very handy with rewiring electrical, as you only just plug it in! Super easy. The whole smart phone controlling the lights is a great idea, it operates similar to the old style clapper, but with a totally modern "smart" capability. It's awesome to be able to turn your light off from your phone!

I just started into the Z-Wave extravaganza, and I love it. I control outdoor lighting, Christmas lights, and with these single plug units I control indoor lamps. It comes in handy when scheduling lights to go on and off while on vacation. You do need a Z-Wave hub to run these, which also can be found at home depot. Once you plug the unit in, paring with the hub is very easy using hub app. These are great units and I recommend to anyone wanted light control from anywhere in world. Keep in mind that you do need internet access to be able to control the lights from any where.

GE Z-Wave smart switch has two (2) connected outlets. Being located on the side, it is easy to place furniture in front of switch without the AC cord getting in the way. If you orient the module correctly, you will have easy access to the push button with its BLUE LED indicator lamp. For me, programming is straight forward through my WINK-2 app. I always run the factory reset feature shown in the instruction manual. While holding the button in, plug the module into the AC outlet and keep holding it for three (3) second and the LED lamp under the button will blink. Ready to sync to your hub (WINK-2). This is always a little frustrating, so be patient, especially if you have more that a few devices. After it is added to my hub I ask ALEXA to find devices. That's it, I'm up and running. The great feature of this versus the single outlet version, is I can have two (2) lamps on my dresser both go on or off without an extra multi-tap adapter. Also the manual button push if the device is easily reached.

A smart switch came with my new ADT home security system, and I wanted another for a lamp in the bedroom. The GE smart switch was so easy to connect to my system. It's great to be able to use my cell phone to turn it on when you're coming home after dark.

Must have the hub and an app on your smartphone. otherwise it works as advertise. Metal walls limits the range to the hub drastically.

I was unable to contact someone to help me with getting the right side to work. Please advise.

Replaced 8 year old modules with these new GE modules. They work flawlessly and I love the fact that there are two zwave controlled plugs per module.

It’s so easy to control through an app. You can dim the lights when you are trying to set a romantic evening or even getting ready for bed. If you are like me and want a little light to wake up to, you can set an alarm to have the light pop on. This is probably the easiest item to start off using. Would recommend it to anyone of any ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m using this in my daughters nursery. This summer works perfectly and is simple to use. I highly recommend this to anyone with small children. I use this in my daughters nursery so that I don’t have to have the lamp on full brightness when I go into her room to put her back to sleep in the middle of the night. It has made our middle of night routine much faster since the light doesn’t wake her all the way up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great device but it only works for one unit, I installed it in my room and it worked perfect, practically as a control or something. In general it works and I recommend, I would have liked it to work for more units but fine.

It can be controlled by your phone, computer, Alexa, or manually. I’ll put one in my bedroom so I can turn on/off the light without having to get up. Easy to control, adjust brightness, and schedule lamps anywhere indoors. Also great that it provides two outlets and only plugs into one outlet, it provides smart control for two devices simultaneously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z-Wave Plus White/Grey Plug-in Dimmer is really a great little gadget ,I choose to use it in our nursery ,and I'm very pleased that I don't have to flip on a bright light when I'm trying to soothe a half asleep infant.

Not only was it easy to set up- Download the App, plugged the lamp into the dimmer, dimmer into outlet, push button on top to connect to the downloaded app then I can control the lamp from my phone. What a great thing to have these days now I can turn the light on when I am not even home.

I have other Z-Wave products and they all work great and the setup couldn't be any easier. The fact that this is a dimmer only makes it even better. Also, we've had several blackouts recently due to all the storms this summer and the Z-Wave reconnects to wifi as if nothing had happened. Great product!

I love that I can easily adjust how bright or dim I want a lamp, depending on the circumstances. Now when I watch tv, I can have a little light without it being too bright. It is compact in size so it doesn't block the use of another plug in switch. This is the perfect device to help create the perfect ambience in a room. Another great feature is that I can set a timer for the device to turn on and off on a certain schedule. Works great! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lamp in my living room that I use this on and it works great! We were wanting a dimming feature for that lamp and this made perfect sense. The nice thing is that you don't need to hook it up to your wireless network to get it to work. You can just as easily operate the dimmer by the button on the device. I especially like the fact that you can dim it to the desired brightness and it remembers it the next time you turn it on. Super product! I highly recommend this!

Using this plug to control the Christmas Tree lights! No crawling behind the tree to turn off & on!

Very easy to set up. Had no problems including it in my Smartthings hub. Can handle up to 1800 W resistive load. Since it is z-wave plus, the range should be better than plain vanilla z-wave devices. The response is almost instantaneous inside my 2-story house. I have not tested the range-extension feature yet. Will update my review when I do that.

It easily connects to a plug outlet and only takes up one plug space which is very important in my household since we need use all plug outlets. The light cord simply plugs in dimmer which plugs into wall and conects through tablet. I also love it gives you the option to manually dim light as well. This product works very accurately and ease. I would definately recommend this product to others.

I'm eager to replace all of my switches with the z-wave so it's fair to say I am pretty addicted to the automation wave. If you start, it will get you addicted to having a smart home.

I told my Pulse system to discover the device, hit the button on the top and it was immediately found. The dimmer was discovered quickly and worked with my Pulse app for dimming the lamp attached to it without any configuration. This was simple and easy to get setup!
