Awesome temperature control
The space is amazing and the temperature control works way better than my last refrigerator I think the motor was going out and it kept making my food spoil and now I have your new fridge in my apartment I actually can keep my food longer and not throw away my money. Thanks so very much guys, ;)

Ge refrigerator is a great quality product

Opens correctly
I'm so glad the handles are reversible. I have had a fridge for 25 years and it opened on the wrong side, so I had to jimmy myself in the fridge everytime I opened it . This new one is opening on the correct side.

Terrible
I don’t like this product. It has rusted very badly on top, the door seals have cracked and pieces broken off. I have had this product for around 6 years. I have promised myself never to never again buy this brand.

THE DOOR HAS EXTRA LARGE STORAGE SPACE.

Loudest appliance I’ve ever had.
Please, I beg anyone reading this to not purchase it if it’s going into a small house or apartment. There is a very high chance it will be so loud you can’t talk on the phone, listen to tv (blast the volume and anger your neighbors I guess?), focus, study, SLEEP if your bedroom is near kitchen, etc.
Please take a moment to check out the other 1-star reviews. Many of them are because of the noise. I’ve had quieter air conditioners, washers, dryers. For this amount of sound to come from a refrigerator? Unacceptable.
If you live in a larger home or have this positioned far away from your other rooms, I’m sure it’s fine. If not, I wish you the best of luck.

Early Temperature Issue With New GE Refrigerator
A few weeks after first using a new GE refrigerator in my (newly renovated) apartment, the inner temperature started warming up (even when turned down all the way). So, I had to ask the building management to replace it. Since then, everything seems to be fine.

So far so good. I have noticed a decrease in my electricity bill. "Recommended" temperature setting cools fridge to 44 degrees, so I used the next higher setting to get it to meet cooler government standards.

Great 2nd fridge with lots of storage
Great fridge for our basement. This gives us ample storage for a 2nd fridge and was one of the few options that was able to fit down our tight hallway/ basement door to get into the basement.
