Great product .. works well, easy to operate and 1100 W is perfect for everyday uses..

It broke right after a year and the warranty ran out.

After two and a half year microwave stop heating. Service appointment available in two weeks.

I am very happy with my new microwave. It is very quiet which is nice.

inside of the microwave is beautiful like the metal gray. When you’re close the door, it’s too loud though.. Also, I have to turn on the light to use the microwave because the buttons are really dark. They don’t light up unless you put the first button.

This product has issues with the door opening. Took it out of box and installed and door does not open. Look at the reviews on YouTube and to my surprise the door is the main issues. So I will give you 1 star till GE fix this problem!

Very poor performance. Hardly used, but has broken down already twice.

We have had multiple repairs that were unsuccessful on this new unit and has stopped working completely. I would like to be contacted for replacement.

Extra large capacity and does well. Unfortunately, this is my second time to purchase one. The first was in 2018 a few weeks ago something shorted out inside and sparks were shooting. Bought the extended warranty this time so hopefully we don’t need to purchase again.

The magnetron started sparking, buzzing, and smoking! I had to run to my breaker box to shut off the power to avoid burning down my house.

I had this exact same built in microwave and it went out so I bought the exact same one (since it had the frame and everything already in place and I like it). After 2 uses it started giving an ERR and now it has no power. After checking the fuse box and the outlet itself, it’s the unit. Contacted Home Depot who referred me to GE for warranty - GE said someone would be out yesterday afternoon - nothing. It’s been 4 days since requesting help from Home Depot and GE. I bought the 5 year extended warranty and at this point I don’t care if it’s GE or Home Depot who fixes it, I’d just like a working microwave! I called Home Depot yesterday who said wait one more day to see if GE reaches out so I’ll be calling Both again today. :(

This GE Microwave Model PEB7227AN4DD. worked great until the warranty was ready to run out. At the one-year timeline, it stopped working with great fanfare! You would have thought I put something with a metal component in the microwave. When I turned it on to heat up some water, it began to arc and spark like a sparkler. I quickly shut it off and called for service. It was almost out of warranty and the repair cost would have been more than the price of a new microwave. We have been without a microwave now for over eight months because of the cost and having a new baby. Not sure what to replace it with since this is a built-in model.

I bought a house with this microwave installed. It was less than a year old and the magnetron went out. I had the original paperwork but the warranty did not transfer. GE doesn't even stand by this microwave. The mounting hardware was going to be 100-150 for any other microwave that I bought so I just bought the exact same microwave again Feb 10th of 2022. July 1st 2024 there was a series of loud pops, flashes of light, and smoke. Do not buy this microwave, its junk

Love my new built in GE white microwave! It's easy to use with clear instructions. Especially like the white interior which allows me to see what I'm cooking.

This microwave looks slick which is one of the reasons why we bought it but as you can see from the reviews it is a piece of crap. Everything was fine until of course the 1 year warranty expired. When we turned it on, it would a loud blubbering noise, and the interior light flickers on and off. Sometimes it would spark inside as if we put a fork in it which we did not. Not worth our house burning down for a cool looking mic. Looks like our magnetron malfunctioned which when you ask a tech to repair it the cost is starting $400. So essentially it make no sense at all to repair a malfunctioning microwave when you could just get another brand. So disappointed, what a waste of money.

Microwave seems to work well but numbers on external screen are blurry, almost like condensation inside. Works fine so far but this is a concern

Had this for about 6 weeks... I love it! Nice big interior. I can easily mute the dings! Easy to use. Only criticism would be I wish the control panel was backlit... In medium to low lighting it is difficult to see the control panel features.

Absolute crap! I've gone through three of these now. On the first one the door push button broke. I couldn't open the microwave. What was in there was stuck in there until the repair man came. The second one the magnetron started sparking, buzzing, and smoking! I had to run to my breaker box to shut off the power to avoid burning down my house. The third one had the same magentron problem. When it breaks it is scary. STAY AWAY FROM GE PRODUCTS! They do not have the quality they did a generation ago.

Nice looking microwave with my favorite « melt butter » setting. Trim looks nice, fairly easy to install with a little assistance. Would be nice if it were white on the inside instead of dark grey, but it’s fine.

This product is less than 2 years old and is producing sparks when I turn it on.
