Love the features!
I love this GE cooktop! This cooktop replaced the GE one I had for 16 years and loved, so the space accommodated the new GE range perfectly. The grills on this new cooktop are better, and the cooking time is faster and more efficient overall. I like the backlight underneath the knobs when they are turned on and in use. Thanks GE!

all good except knob height
It's a great cooktop. the only complaint i have is the knobs are taller than the cooktop, so when you slide something flat it rubs the knobs and scratches them. aweful design.

Better featrures and looks great.
Just got our GE Profile 36" Gas Cooktop installed. It looks great and we are looking forward to cooking on it. We upgraded to get a BTU boost for quicker boiling, simmering etc.

Great replacement cooktop.
Cooktop replaced an older GE Profile Cooktop. New unit had several better features especially the Burner Ignition. Very simple to do a DIY install.

The grills have openings in them and the pans tilt sideways if not positioned just right, could end up being dangerous if pan tips over and spills on you.

Good Fit
The product took a little longer to install than I anticipated, due to it being a little deeper than the one removed. It looks good and works well. Arrived already setup for natural gas and installed with no leaks. Happy with the purchase.

Love the Look!
The install was easy as it was a replacement. The only thing we had to modify was the back of our drawer to fit the piping for the gas. It kept hiting the back of drawer. We had to change out the orfices because we have LP. That waseasy enought. The burners heat up HOT! More BTUs. Have to make sure you cook on med. Also make sure your pot is not smaller than the burners. Adjust as needed. Other than That I love the look!

Easy installation.
We purchased this 36" GE Profile gas cooktop to replace the 18 year old GE Profile cooktop we had. Parts were provided for the conversion to LP, and the instruction made the conversion a snap. The cooktop dropped right into place without the need for any modifications to the countertop. Very easy installation from start to finish.

Cheap
Happy with the burners and crate, but the stainless steel bottom and surrounding area is a cheap as can be. Very disappointing.

GE Profile Cooktop
What a great cooktop. The two power boil burners heat water very quickly and offer added convenience. I especially like the lighted burner knobs. Anytime the burner knob is in any position other than OFF, a ring light illuminates around the knob. The cast iron grates are very heavy duty and a step up from earlier models. You won't go wrong buying this cooktop.

Letters and words disappear around knobs. Knobs plastic beginning to fade, need new Gas Cook Top asap

Love the Lighted Knobs
So far, so good. Everything works well and really like the lit knobs. ONLY obnservation to date is that the stainless steel seems to scratch very easliy. Will need to use caustion when cleaning and do not use anythig abbrasive.
