Delivered quickly, but rusty
The cart I received is rusty. Not happy to pay full price for something that looks used and has been outside long enough to rust all the unpainted metal and bumps and scratches on the painted parts also rusty. I should get a discount for this or exchange for new one.

    It’s a chimp
Hard to push or pull due to flat free hard tires. Needs tires with air. Also won’t dump completely unless you flip it over. I get upset at myself for buying this every time I use it. Looks cute though.

      broken wheel
Loved using this cart for the first three months. Expensive, but seemed sturdy. Never put more than 150 pounds load in it. On the 90th day, the thin rubber tire came off wheel, just missing return deadline at HD. See photo. Don't see a way to get the tire back on, so can't use the cart. Anyone else had this experience? Thanks,

Gorilla Carts 7-cu ft Poly Yard Cart Review 2021
I purchased this cart after my old wheel barrow handles finally broke and the cost to replace them was half of the cost of a replacement. At the time i needed a replacement wheel barrow this is the only one Home Depot had in stock and after some research I decided to purchase it and I am so glad my wife is also glad she can finally use the cart without me helping her balance it when its loads with dirt or mulch. I love that the wheels do not require any air and will never go flat. You can purchase replacement parts from Gorilla Carts if something breaks and the pricing is reasonable. I would recommend this cart to everyone that needs to replace the old style wheel barrow. I also love that it stands on it's own and this is a space saving feature everyone will love. wheel broken
good ONLY for very light weight yard job. We used for taking yard materials and tree branches. The cart is easy to use with 2 wheels. However, wheel is broken and can't get replacement except from manufacturer with high price and shipping (~$35for one wheel). The cart last only about a year. Greatly disappointed.

              Good for a while
We were excited about this cart that we got last spring from Home Depot . It worked well for hauling compost around the yard and top dressing for a lawn restoration. However, a short while ago a crack developed in the deep end of the bucket which quickly became a 10 inch horizontal crack. We realize that it is in the zone where the shovel blade comes into contact with bucket, however, that zone should be strong enough to handle impact. Shortly thereafter, we noticed that the axle was deforming. Not sure if that came first or after the crack developed that changed how the wheels/axle were loaded in someway? We didn't expect it to last a lifetime but at least a handful of years. Rarely was this loaded with even 250#, far below the stated capacity.

I am so glad I bought this. I was going to buy a new wheelbarrow, but decided on this instead. The big wheels make it easy to carry heavy loads over rough terrain. The wheels are solid, so no need to constantly check tire pressure and refill! The handles allow you to pull or pull a load at any angle. The frame is super strong. I really like its 4-point stability when loading. I have used it to carry six 60 pound bags of Sacrete as well as rocks, dirt, and tools.

good design but needs a metal bucket
I love the design concept about this cart, 2 wheels low profile separate handles, but the bucket material does not hold up. after 4 months, it split right down the middle, after hauling (3) 60lb bags of concrete. Bucket should be metal encased in polymer plastic to give it the advantages of plastic, but the strength of metal. I would love to give this a positive rating, but since it couldn't do what it advertised or hold up longer than 4 months I give it a fail.

This has become my favorite garden/yard tool! This cart well built and sturdy. The handles make it easier to maneuver this cart through your yard and the wheels handle most ground types. The hardware they used to assemble the cart is quality and resist rusting even when left out in the rain. The bucket holds a good amount of material all the while still easy to push or pull without tipping over like a traditional wheel barrow. The position of the wheels make it easy to dump the bucket exactly where you want it. I really love this cart and highly recommend!

                  Piece of junk
Broke on first use. I was moving a wood pile from one side of the yard to the other. The bottom cracked and the wheel fell of. Moving mulch, or super light stuff, maybe but for the cost of this thing, I expected way better. Too back I can’t return a cart that is in shambles. Do yourself a favor and buy a 2-wheeled metal cart. It is also not easy to put together. A few more words in the directions would have prevented me from basically putting it together 2 times.

Cracked on the very first use, no response from Gorilla
I've had my metal wheel barrel for 12 years, decided to get an upgrade. This Gorilla cart broke on the very first use. Hauling dirt (heavy dirt) and it cracked while dumping it. I'm not a super strong woman - this cart should be able to carry more than me. Worse yet - I sent all required materials to Gorilla ... twice, and they won't even respond to me. Very disappointed, expected more from Gorilla. Yet the 12 year old metal one... still works.

Great wheelbarrow like cart! Sturdy, balances loads well with easy grip handles. It does sit a bit lower than most, but I'm 6' 2" and have no real issues. Only 2 real cons I can think of, first is that the tires are a little narrow so if used on very soft or wet ground they might dig in a bit. Second at my local store these come fully assembled, not in a box that I was expecting by the Q&A section box details, so be prepared...I almost had to leave it and return but fit it in the back seat of my Tesla Model 3.

I love this cart. So much better than my old wheelbarrow. Having two wheels instead of one means I don't have to worry about my load shifting and the cart falling over. The load in the Evolution cart seems to rest mostly in the rear making it easy to maneuver. The handles are comfortable to grip. I would preferred to have rubber wheels instead of the plastic ones it came with but at least they seem sturdy. Easy to assemble. Even the bolts are numbered to correspond with the directions so it's impossible to get it wrong. I did have to force the frame supports a little, but I still managed to put it together in less than an hour by myself. Definitely helps to own a good socket set. I've only had it for a short while. The true test is how long it will stand up over time. It will spend all of it's time outdoors in Texas heat. By the way, price seems to vary by store. I live right between 2 Home Depots. One store was $10 cheaper than the other one.

I purchase this cart for moving spit wood to stack. It replaced 4 wheeled cart with a poly hopper. After moving a few loads...which was way under 600 lbs. .....was severely cracked. I expected mire out of this cart since they boast "Made in the USA". A positive, the cart is easy to put together and is easy to maneuver

I really like gorilla products and already have 2 carts of theirs which I use almost every week so when I had the opportunity to try this one,I was a happy diy-er! It came in one box ready to assemble with clear and simple instructions. Everything was numbered and it took about 30-45 mins to put together. The tub is nice and deep to haul anything and everything from dirt, sand, rocks, leaves, bags of mulch to name a few. The wheels are solid so no worries about inflating and the ergonomic design makes moving, wheeling and dumping very easy. This won’t wobble or move when loading and the metal foot braces keep it steady. It has a 600lb weight limit which should be sufficient for most residential uses. The two wheel design makes my wheel barrel feel sad and I am no longer fearful that I will tip it over as compared to the wheel barrel design. The frame is a strong and the plastic tub won’t rust like the metal ones I have used prior. This is a must have for any tool shed/garden and will last for a long time. I just used it to haul a pile of sand and dirt from a yard project and couldn’t be happier. You can’t ever go wrong with a Gorilla cart!

Oh, swoon! I am so totally in love with my Gorilla yard cart. This baby is totally what I need for all the landscaping, patio installation, and retaining wall building I've been busy with for a couple of years now. I got the Gorilla Evolution cart to replace a standard garden cart that, even though it was of high quality, was starting to break down under the heavy use demand. The Gorilla cart can handle it all, and clearly so much more. For the first load, I needed to move a pile of bricks I had dug out of a slope. The bricks had been used to stop erosion, and it was time to replace them with a real retaining wall. I stacked the first load somewhat conservatively, putting in only one layer of brick. The cart handled that well (see picture...there is a full row of bricks in the front that don't show in this photo). For the next load, I went with two layers deep. The weight of the load was still surprisingly easy to push, mostly because the design on the Evolution lets the load balance almost entirely over the wheels. The older cart also had trouble with the tires losing air twice a season. Not a problem with these no-flat wheels! The older cart had an axle that was stressed by only a few landscaping stones, or only three bags of mulch (2 cubic feet each). The Evolution cart has a weight capacity of 600 pounds. I'll never be able to push 600 pounds of anything at once, but I don't need to. This cart rolls everywhere easily. One of the biggest surprises was the design of the handles. I didn't think they would be anything special until the first time I used this. The grip is much more comfortable than any other cart I've used before, and I've been through three high-quality carts before this one. The handles are also lovely when you need to pull the cart backward. Even when I worked on the slope, I was able to manipulate the cart into the exact positions I needed for the work. Finally, the width is perfect for my needs. I have many narrow places around the house where I need to squeeze by the car or the garden edging. This cart is shaped well for home use. The only drawback is the storage. It does store on its end, which saves space. But the bucket collects some rainwater despite the angle. Minor problem, however. When you get one of your own, look at the bucket where the bolts go through to the runners. You'll see that there are metal plates sitting beneath the bolts. This means that, over time, the bolt heads will not cut into the body of the cart itself. You will enjoy many years of service from this workhorse!

I was very impressed when I received this cart, particularly with the construction of the cart body itself. I have had plastic carts before but NOTHING like this! The quality and gauge of the plastic convinces me that this cart will last a long time. And the instructions for assembly? I've never seen anything with only pictures to follow that made it more clear how to assemble the entire unit. I was very impressed with the packaging of the small parts - bolts, nuts, washers, and cotter pins - blister packed and labeled to match the steps in the instructions! (Please see the picture I've included.) When I selected this cart I wasn't prepared for the heavy gauge metal parts and I am sure if anything ever fails - which I doubt - spare parts could be ordered. The cart is very easy to handle and the capacity is excellent!

I've needed a wheelbarrow for longer than I care to admit (I've even borrowed them from neighbors), so when this modern take on a wheelbarrow showed up, I ordered one right away. I wanted something that was a lot easier to use than a standard wheelbarrow, which of course falls over pretty easily. I also tended to bang my shins on the rear legs of traditional wheelbarrows. So, the good news is that this yard card is as steady as a rock. It's basically impossible to tip over. And thanks to the legs that are tucked well under the bucket, I never banged my ankles or shins while walking around with it. I also really like the little details, like the rubber feet on the bottom of the legs to prevent scratching of wood surfaces, as well as the rounded edges of the tub, which actually makes a big difference when turning corners (by avoiding clipping fences, etc.). There are just two drawbacks I should mention: (1) assembly requires TWO 13mm wrenches (not included), an odd size that I didn't have. I used an SAE-sized driver that was about the same size, along with an adjustable wrench. And you won't be able to use a power driver in many of the locations due to lack of access. I also found that I needed a mallet to get the handles onto the posts, which was not mentioned in the manual. Overall, assembly will take at least half an hour. (2) This cart is a little difficult to maneuver. First, the cart is heavy (38lbs). That is of course what makes it strong (it's rated to carry up to 600lbs!), but that means it's a little difficult to maneuver, especially if you have any grade in your yard. The fact that it has two wheels instead of one also adds some rolling resistance and increases the turn radius. Finally, note that it uses solid-plastic wheels, not inflatable rubber tires like traditional wheelbarrows have. That means less maintenance, but more rolling resistance and a bumpier ride. Overall, this product definitely delivers on its promises, but there are drawbacks to being so strong and stable: specifically, it's a bit harder to maneuver.

This is our second Gorilla cart of this type. Have only had this one a week or so and bought it to replace a three year old one where the wheels came loose. Very poor wheel/axel design where the wheel comes loose from the sleeve and since it is not held on by a clip outside the wheel it is difficult to replace or fix. Rust was a big issue with the wheels and the metal parts. Aside from that it is a handy nicely balanced size for hauling hay for the horses because the larger Gorilla carts are simply badly balanced and hard to lift when fully loaded.

It's just not a practicle tool!
This wheelbarrow design is a big fail. The wheels are too narrow, not a large enough diameter, and are made of a rigid plastic. Pushing a full load across grass is more work than it should be, and pulling the wheelbarrow isn't practical. When dumping the load, the wheelbarrow's design prevents it from dumping completely. The back has to be forced up and pushed against the material that did dump. After one day, it sat on the side and everyone used the older model.

Good for moving material in certain circumstances Narrow wheels add difficulty in moving heavy loads on turf or soft ground. Need wheels that are at least twice as wide. Normal tipping will not empty tub. Needs to be rotated to 45 degrees beyond vertical to get anywhere near completely empty the tub and that depends on the material being carried..
