Hello Victor - We are sorry to hear that our products did not work according to your expectations. Best if Used By/Expiration date information can be found on the bottom of the can. As with all items sold through retailers, product should be returned to the place of purchase for exchange or refund.

3/5 cans failed
3 of the 5 cans I used failed where the can meets the gun; all 5 were fully seated to the gun. I ended up using 4 times as much cleaner to clean up the spray foam that went everywhere except out of the nozzle.

ONE TIME USE PRODUCT!
The Great Stuff product works fine for insulating doors and windows, however, remember that Great Stuff is a ONE TIME use product. After initial use, Great Stuff foam hardens in the can, and can not be used again. Therefore, I would recommend Great Stuff as long as you DON'T intend to use the can at a later date. USE the can ONE TIME and throw it away!

The Great Stuff Pro™ Insulating Foam Sealant products can be used with the dispensing straw or with a Great Stuff Pro™ Dispensing Gun. Using the gun does allow the can to be used for up to 30 days after initial use if the flow control screw is fully tightened for storage.

Reusable, greater volume and less expansion than the single-use cans. I highly recommend using this and the gun if you have a fair amount of filling to do. Personally I have found that I need to use these over a period of time and the gun allows me to do so. Using this in conjunction with roughly fit pieces of polyiso or EPS foam board insulation is an economical and relatively environmentally friendly method of insulating basement joist bays over using spray foam froth packs.

It's easy to work with especially with the pro 14 dispensing gun. Very little mess. It expands but much less than the big gap filler. It's also fire blocking. I wished the company had a long flexible tube that had the quick stop straw on the end for the hard to reach places. Tubing without a shutoff on the end is much more messy.

Pro can is better
This "pro" can works with the applicator gun, it is well worth the 50 dollars. I was insulating overhead and went through 3 cans of the regular foam on less than 10% of the ceiling and made an incredible mess. With the gun and this larger can i was able to do the rest of the ceiling with only 2 of these. Made it well worth the added cost.
It doesn't seem to expand as much as the cheaper cans, and it is bright orange instead of the yellow.

Better than expected!
Bought this foam to seal up where suspected mice were getting in... Sealed GREAT and no more mice!

I bought this and had it delivered NOT realizing I needed the gun too be able to use it. I remember the online description showing the gun, but not recommending I get it for using this. I haven't returned it...yet.
