I wish I paid more attention to the measurement between wall and rack. I guess we have thicker towels. This is really more for hand towels that are smaller and not bath sheets.

You did not provide me with this item, when I called to tell you you had mistakenly provided me another item instead, you said you would credit my card but then you never even did that

simple yet elegant design. little harder to install then previous one, due to plastic mounting instead of metal which could be slightly moved and adjusted. just have to measure and be accurate.

Grohe Essentials are all elegant. Beautiful, simple design. Easy to install.

The towel bar fit perfect behind the bathroom door and the chrome finish was perfect.

The towel bar itself is beautiful, but the instructions that come with it are incomprehensible. All in diagram (from Germany), the sketches depict the product as not yet fully assembled along with confusing instructions on how to screw it into the wall with parts that don't appear to be present in the packaging. Ultimately, I followed the only apparent option available--I stuck the bar to the bathroom wall by removing the adhesive protectors & pressing hard on the circular ends to make them adhere. I happily put up the towels, & about midnight the apparatus tumbled noisily down onto the sink & wood floor. Luckily, I live in a full-service apt. bldg. in NYC, so the handyman came by the next day & disassembled the parts to hang the bar properly with screws.

This is sleek, understated and beautiful. I spent countless hours trying to find the perfect towel rack for our bathroom and was nervous buying in absence of reviews. I’m writing this for anyone else in the same predicament... this is a must buy! Was very easy to install.

I actually returned this towel bar. The space between the wall and the bar was too narrow. You actually had to thread the towel through the gap rather than just simply draping the towel over the bar. It was definitely fine looking and well made but not very serviceable. I similarly returned the 24 inch version.

Remodeled with Hansgrohe fixtures and the Grohe Essentials complimented well. Better quality than most, hopefully will wear well for the price.
