I’ve had my set for several years and I’m so glad I purchased em. I can no longer stand watching people hammer at locknuts. I use them everyday as I’m constantly checking other electricians work at A/C disconnects and units, Sub panels and j boxes. They’re easy to use, sleek and really strong. I do some electrical work and I can honestly say that these little wrenches come in handy. They work wonders on locknuts and buttons. Tyler usually tapes them to his fingers and goes around telling people how cool he is. He is missing a few sockets from his tool set. The wrenches are durable, fit any where, and get the job done. Which is cooler than guys who think they are cool. If you are working with conduit fittings, seal tight, electrical buttons and switches, or anything with a locknut. These tools are a must have. Great price for three and they last a long time. Awesome as always Home Depot.

SUMMARY: A GREAT ADDITION TO MY ELECTRICAL TOOL BAG BACKGROUND: A do a fair amount of electrical work around the property. I’ve always hated using a screwdriver and hammer to fasten or loosen conduit and entry locknuts. The chance to use the Gardner Bender locknut wrenches was too good to pass up. FIT AND FINISH: Similar quality as other Garnder Bender tools, the wrenches are simple and functional. The etched markings and color coding are nice additional features. I have a slight concern that the aluminum not be durable under continuous use. But should last me the rest of my DIY life. OPERATION: Simple to use, like any spanner-type wrench. In a cramped location the two different head angles give you more flexibility to get a good grip. With a standard RMC locknet operation was quick and easy. With an NMC locknut with a washer face it was a little more difficult to lock the wrench into the lug. But the smooth tightening motion was much nicer than the screwdriver method. The ability to tighten a locknut with just one hand was also very nice. SUMMARY: Worth the money if you do a lot of locknut work, or just hate using a screwdriver and hammer. PROS: Color coded by size, easy to use.

Decent wrenches for turning thin locknuts. They are color coded and have a hole to hang from a key ring. One side tighten, the other loosen. Markings are easy to read. Didn’t see a warranty anywhere on the package, but as long as they are used for the intended purpose, shouldn’t be an issue. They are 1/8” thick and fairly easy to grip and apply appropriate tightening / loosening force. They also grip the locknut fairly well.

Saw these and thought to myself why I did not come up with the idea. Can't tell you how many times I have bloodied my knuckles trying to tighten a lock nut into a box. The Gardner Bender 3 Locknut Wrench Kit is a tool that every mechanical, electrical or plumping tradesperson should have it your tool box. Compact and light weight. Nice low profile design for working in hot boxes. Sure beats using pliers or my personal favorite. A beater screw driver and hammer to install or remove locknuts. I just wish they were around 37 years ago. I would have a lot less scars on my hands.

One of those tools I didn't know existed. Not needed very often, but when you need it, it's a real timesaver, instead of banging away with a flat blade screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers. very well made. Should last a lifetime.
