Horrible information instructions

Not accurate readings

Satisfactory, gives me idea of the moisture content inside dry wall.

Significant design flaw in that the cover which goes over the pins can break easily when you attempt to sample a wall

Useful tool to have to check wood/drywall at areas of previous moisture damage to know the extent of removal and replacement that is required. Hard to get pins into the wood in some tight spaces due to the angle of the pins in the device and still allow reading of the screen (vertical orientation would more easily fit between studs and get closer to studs). Good tool for the price. Easy to use.

sounds easy enough, but gave be inconsistent results. No t sure I can trust it.

This device helped me find a wet wall that wasn’t visually obvious.

Returned. Too cheaply made. Couldn’t close battery door. Junk

Easy to use and big display

Used to figure out whether a water-soaked drywall ceiling was drying out with fans and dehumidifiers. Really nice to have a tool without pins that can be used non-destructively on a finished drywall surface. It detected moisture that was indetectable just by hand feel and gave me confidence that the drying was complete.

Hard to see rating for someone with arthritis. Should give numerical value instead of indicators as on device.

Only drawback is no in box instructions, had to find a YouTube video to explain finer points of use. Otherwise, works well right out of the box as an indicator of issues that need attention. Works as intended.

Accurate, easy to use Moisture Meter to help locate the area and source of water leak. The higher the moisture reading will help determine the location of the wall, ceiling, floor to open for the moisture problem and needed opening the drying area to prevent mold and needed repairs of the opened/access area.

Easy and accurate to use, very affordable. Feels like it would break if you drop it, but for $60 bucks you can’t beat it.

Work great help me my flooring

Works ok at detecting moisture. I purchased it for documentation purposes for claims/inspections and I understand that the machine auto shuts off when too much moisture is detected in order to preserve the device. My issue is that it shuts off before getting to red and sometimes just shuts off without registering on the scale so you can't take pictures showing its reached red or elevated and even in videos it just appears that its malfunctioning so I cannot use as proof. If it could go up to red at least and beep for just 1/2 a second then shut off that would be ok. Will be purchasing a more professional meter for my needs. Will work for basic home applications.
