used these on Trex decking. they go in nice, sink in flush and even, no bulging. the fine thread on top actually pull the board down tight and sucks the deck skin down the hole for a nice clean surface. Hint: pre drill with 1/8" but. Buy better star bits, the one supplied only did a handful of screws before the bit wore round. NONE of my screws stripped or broke. Put the screws in the thick part of the boards, not the hollow grooves under them.

Worked great for outside window trim (PVC-plastic trim board).

If you want to ro do your deck after a few years be my guest and buy this garbage. 2 years later the screws are snapping all in the same area. Screws have a weak spot and should not be sold. Let's see if the company is going to pay the 2k it is going to cost me to fix this problem now.

Product works really well. Probably better than the tan or black screws that I have spent extra cash on in the past. The thread change seemed weird to me at first, but if you think about how it works, it helps secure and strengthen each joint. These bad boys draw in tight but like any other wood screw, if you put too much torque on these they will start spinning. Love these and will use again for back deck.

Very useful and installed very nice. The head shown is a square, but the heads on the screws were star shaped. Had to find bits because there wasn't any in the box. Was suppose to have one but maybe someone took it out. Product worked and looks great.

They bite OK. I think GRKs grab better initially. Pull deck planks down tight. And don't mushroom hardly at all. Better than some other brands I have tried.

Great idea making a screw that doesn’t mushroom up the composite deck material, however when you use 2-3 screws per location trying to get one to work it is very frustrating. Screws heads stripped out before you get all the way down and then you can’t back out and ended up hammering the rest of the way. Cheap drive and the heads are worthless. I even started predrilling and had the same issue. The manufacturer needs to reimburse you for all of the non usable screws because of this defect.

these screws are suppose to fit a camo nail gun to put the decking down heads way to big for it. i have made three trips to the store to try and buy the right screws very disappointed.

Love these but the star bits are not very strong. I had to purchase another, separate bit in order to finish the job.

The majority of these screws ended up mushrooming the trex decking. Don’t recommend using this product.
