Love these countertops! It’s wood, so they’re easier to work with than stone or solid surface. I can use my basic hand tools to get the perfect fit and finish.

Looks very nice, I wouldn’t really consider it live edge. Pretty much a wavy edge sanded smoothly. Using it for my bar countertop which is Still under construction, But still looks very nice.

We recently built out a new office in Temecula, CA. We wanted an industrial look so I built it all of our furniture with industrial metal pipe and used these wood tops. I think they are stunning and our visitors love the look. A great affordable option that looks like a million bucks!

This is my second order for this product. Last time I bought the slightly smaller size. It was magnificent! This one was really nice, but the front right corner of the wood was kind of sketchy and didn’t look great despite lots of sanding. It’s not as gorgeous as the first one I bought, but it’s still beautiful and it’s a great price for what I got. I have it installed as a countertop in my guest half-bath and it looks very handsome.

We love this product, its makes a beautiful table! We get a lot of compliments! We plan on making matching coffee table as well as end tables.

I was seeking a wood slab for a computer desk, but I didn't want to finish one myself and also wanted something of uniform size. This 6' Hardwood Reflections countertop fits the bill nicely. Although the company said this product was already finished and ready to use, it arrived looking very dull, so I applied a mineral oil beeswax cream (Boos Block brand) which really brought out the contrast of the wood grain. I am very pleased with my purchase. There where are some minor imperfections on the bottom of the countertop, but the top looks very nice with plenty of variation in the wood tones, which I really like.

Beautiful grain, very rich in color. Live edge is very smooth, which was perfect for how we were using it.

This is a good product with a couple of caveats: 1. I wouldn't purchase one of these tops without being able to see it first. These were in stock at my local HD and so I was able to choose two tops that had relatively well-matched/consistent grain and color - the boards can vary a ton from one to the next so some slabs just didn't look good to my eye. Also, at least one slab at HD had a fairly large void that was filled with epoxy...maybe not a big deal on the underside of a table but it wouldn't be acceptable to me. That said, one of the tops I bought does have an area that's a bit low - probably 1mm or so lower than the rest of the surface but I'm OK with it. 2: The concept of a live edge slab that's made from multiple boards seems silly to me and I think the edge on these tops is manufactured, it just doesn't look convincing to my eye. This wasn't a big deal to me as I cut down both of the slabs I bought for a table and benches, so the live edges went into the garbage. Otherwise, if you can find a slab that looks good to you and is free from manufacturing defects or damage from being jostled (they are heavy!), the acacia wood looks really nice and the tops were much cheaper than having a local craftsman build something custom for us. The wood is pretty hard but it cut down relatively easily with a sharp blade and it was easy to match the finish on the cut sides using mineral oil and wax. We bolted on some raw finish steel legs we found online and now we have a great looking table and bench set that is the perfect size for our small dining area at a cost that was ~$1,300 less than a custom set of tops in cherry or maple. Hopefully the tops will last as long as I expect them to with some maintenance.

Product was packaged nicely and exceeded our expectations. The wood grain is beautiful and installed perfectly in our coffee bar.

It's a lovely piece of wood . I ordered 3 and returned 1 so I could choose the better of them for my kitchen project One was for a table top at a breakfast are and the other to make shelves. Looks great.

The installation was simple and the outcome was gorgeous! HIGHLY recommend this countertop to anyone who wants the feel of old country brought into their home.

Ordered two of these. Products arrived on time. Well packaged. Checked one at store and was thoroughly impressed! Checked them both when I got home and was delighted with the quality of each one. Absolutely beautiful! Am going to use these to make furniture and it should look outstanding and unique when finished. Check out the pics and see for yourself. First is in fluorescent lighting and the other two are in the sunshine. Grain really dances in the sun. Going to strip the oil finish and use marine grade gloss polyurethane instead.

Bought this for my Kitchen Island and we LOVE IT. Works great for use, Easy cleaning.

We used this as a desk top for custom built in desk. Looks beautiful, very very happy with it.

We used this piece as a vanity top. The piece was straight, no warping and the project turned out better than expected.

Very poor plank selection, three blond and an ebony ... see photo. In addition, the ebony plank has a saw kerf in the end and the machined front edge includes a mold damaged black section that should have caught anyone's eye! Factory oil finish is minimal and not suitable for installation and use as received. Package protection is minimal and easily damaged. Vendor should use better quality cardboard as outer wrapping. I had to return the first three units received due to damage in transit. Returns via UPS pickup are a real hassle and returning to a store not safe using a small vehicle. I would have loved to receive a piece that approximated what is shown on the web site.

6.6.2019 Took a chance despite the hit or miss reviews. Poor craftsmanship. Seams are rough. On one of the sides, it appears they chipped out some pieces of wood and then just glued them back on. Also, lots of cracks in the wood. Will be returning. Can’t believe Home Depot even allows this product in their inventory.

Even though I knew the "live edge" was fake, I expected it to be more true to the real thing. It's just a bull nose edge. I should have done better research but I assumed all countertops would have an overhang and that my cabinets are 24" deep. In fact, including the doors, they are 25" deep. My granite countertop on the opposite cabinets measures 26" wide and hangs one inch over the cabinet doors. So, the Hardwood Reflections countertop is 25" on the bottom and tapers to about 24-5/8" on the top edge. It's pretty much flush with the cabinet doors and drawers. A better product would be 26" wide with a more realistic live edge. The slab itself is beautiful and nicely finished. But it is not designed for kitchen cabinets and should not be advertised as "live edge." I wish I had the choice to recommend with reservations - totally depends on how you plan to use it.

This was finished very unevenly, there are deep gouges in the wood to 1/8 inch deep. It looks like someone went over it with a grinder after it has been oiled. I find it hard to believe that this went out the door this way. I guess if you had this side down it wouldn't be very visible, but this level of crude finishing is really unacceptable for the price. It would take a lot of planing and sanding to get this flat. Unsure what to do at this point because the wood is very beautiful.

Beautiful but extensive black glue marks on top side to the point where it could not be used. Required to flip upside down and resand surface & edges. Lost some of the live edge look as a result but still looks really nice. Would recommend improvement of gluing quality/no marks but other than that product is very nice and makes a great countertop.

Just got it and a little underwhelmed. I know there will be variations from one piece to the next but it looks nothing like the picture. It’s much darker- and the end piece doesn’t seem to match the rest. I wish you could see an actual picture of what you’re getting before you order. Either that or have more examples than the one. Quality wise it seems well made. Love the live edge. It had a pretty strong chemical smell when we first got it but it has dissipated after about a day.

Fantastic product, it is a beautiful piece of wood. We made it into a dining table using the legs from one we were discarding. Packaging was very well done, it came through with no damage even though the package showed signs on rough handling. We will cherish the table for a long time.

It had a flaw in the wood right on the top right that is the exposed side in my kitchen. It looks like they tried to hide it with some material patch

This is advertised as having a live edge and the pictures also show it as such. However, mine is perfectly routed to a bullnose. I suspected that I was simply sent the wrong item, but the packaging showed the correct model. The color variation is also much less drastic than the pictures, but that's more acceptable since this is a natural product and no two will be the same. Overall, I was hoping for a unique look but ended up with a pretty run of the mill countertop.

Our new bar top! It’s just sitting on top of the old funky one but cut to fit brilliantly by my husband. I’ve been looking for just the right (affordable) thing for years. I love it!

We ordered this live edge butcher block countertop for a "new cabinet/countertop construction addition" to our kitchen in our 5 year old home. The countertop itself is stunning! The measurements were EXACTLY as advertised. We are 90% done with this project, and can tell it will be the focal point of our kitchen. To say the least, this product exceeded our expectations and we are SO happy we found the product at Home Depot. We would not hesitate to purchase again, and regularly recommend to friends.

I bought three of them for my laundry room, and all three were different. One was really dark and the others had varying amounts of "white" wood on the natural (front) edge. It made it very difficult to miter the two into a corner without it looking odd. I ended up staining the light one to make it not as noticeable. Individually, they are nice slabs and I would highly recommend them for a single counter.

This piece showed up damaged, chipped and we were given a discount but when we opened box al the way it was sanded wrong. And now its out of stock
