The butcher block table top is absolutely gorgeous!

I love this countertop! It arrived in fairly good condition. One corner had been a little abraded through the packaging, which I sanded out. It did not affect my use of the countertop. I sawed the butcherblock into three pieces. One, 65" long, was for a sink base and side cabinets, i used a Skil saw with a clamped-down saw guide. The saw had a "finish" blade on it. I sawed slowly, and the ash wood cut smoothly. I sanded the edges with a 100 grit finish sander, then coated twice with burcherblock conditioner. I used another, small, piece for a 15" cabinet, and the remainder as a chopping block. The countertops look beautiful, and I like the fact that they are solid wood, not veneer over pressed-board.

We are really pleased with the quality and material is this butcher block counter top. We installed it a few days ago. Colors in the wood compliment our cabinets and hardwood floors. However a dent onone of the edges despite packing materials was a disappointment. Fortunately that is hidden after it was cut and installed. This counter has really made our kitchen more useable and appealing.

It came well packaged and in beautiful condition, after sanding and 7 coats of sealer I've got a show stopper of a bar countertop!

Cannot rate. Product arrived very damaged box. Driver would allow me to open box and check counter top so I declined the shipment.

Product came with only half the box left and giant gouges in the face. Home Depot was great during the return process.

Used this as a two person desk. Aside from one ding in shipping, the wood itself was perfect for my project. There is an obvious "right" and "wrong" side, so you may want wood filler for the "wrong" side if you want to properly seal it on all sides.

I have now purchased two of these butcher blocks. Both of which are junk. Both blocks came to me with damaged corners requiring me to cut off 1-2" of block to start. The first block I bought developed a 3' crack after finishing and sealing per the manufacturer's instructions. The block that I bought to replace it has clear milling marks and deep hand-finishing gouges from the factory. Now I have 2 giant blocks that I need to return. Don't waste your time or money on these butcher blocks

one corner came crushed which meant I had to saw it off and round all corners to match so that it looked uniform. Block also had a few large cracks at various glue joints that required, regluing, clamping and then some wood putty to fill remaining. Feel that the price was high for the quality of the item received.

Even with sealing it immediately after getting it, it warped and separated at ends

Beautiful piece that finished well for our purpose. Very happy with the countertop. It could have used more corner protection in shipping and handling.

extremely easy to install. Using as a top to a custom cabinet in entryway Trimmed about 5.5 inches off to fit 90 inches of cabinet. Took stain and sealer great after a light sanding. Couldn't be happier.

Love this. I actually lightly sanded this when I received this and then I put a clear coat poly on it and it looks so good.

The counter top arrived well package and strapped to the pallet in perfect condition. Very pleased with it.
