This product is an excellent value. The quality is quite good and the black walnut stains beautifully. It arrived with a minor shipping gouge on one side and two areas towards the edges that were delaminating, but after cutting to fit and staining it looks great.

Great product easy to work with, I didn't have to stain it, all it need it was some oil sealer with wax.

I really like it. I cut it to 52" inches long, took a bit a time as the wood is thick and hard. I applied 5 coats of WATCO Butcher Block Oil on the top side, and 2 coats on the bottom side. I installed it on 4 bar table stands that also bolt into the floor. Looks great, works both as an island and a kitchen table.

Fake....not squared edge....it's standard edge....when contacted the seller they said they corrected the description but it'd the same.

I would give 5 stars but the countertop was splitted in 3 pieces besides that is a nice hardwood top

Delivered product is not as advertised. First it is not walnut it is acacia. Second the slab does not have an eased edge and it is not stain ready. Nothing like what is in the store. Only ordered because I needed a 10' counter and the store only had 8'. Will be many hours to get this thing stain ready. First time ordering on-line with delivery to my house. Will not do that again. Have shipped to store then can refuse it when you see what it is.

First time working with butcherblock. Heavy but easy to work with and has turned out beautifully! Delivery drivers kept me updated and even put it in my garage when I wasn't home, per my request. Arrived intact, which is more than I can say for the other piece which came through a different service.

Broke into two pieces on the first dry fit.

Damaged by shipping or arriving store. Store should have noticed, sibce it was quite evident, and called me. Had another unit shipped. Buying from competitir ibstead.

Ordered a 10' Walnut Countertop. Delivery was scheduled 10 days after placing order. On afternoon of day of delivery, got an email saying the product was returned for a refund. Tracking history said the product is damaged and 'Consignee Refused' delivery (I never saw the product) The solution HD offered was just to try again. No assurance that the same thing won't happen the next time or how long the new order might take.

This is the best thing I ever invested in. I am so glad that I bought it. And you guys were there for me? Thank you very much

Table is beautiful and stained into beautiful color. Piece arrived slightly damaged but we sent it to our beach house prior to inspection and cannot return. Inspect delivery box thoroughly before accepting as damaged on box was slight but corner was dented quite badly

Very beautiful when I put the oil and conditioner on it.

They are beautiful- however- 10 feet it’s big and heavy 1 was damaged and we were able to work around it - very beautiful wood

I had it delivered. The box was beat up, but I expected that. I opened the cardboard and inspected - all looked fine, but there are cardboard runners around the outside so you can't see the sides and plastic is frosted. I didn't want to open the plastic because I wasn't ready to start. Once I did, I found a split the entire length on one one seams, and two huge dents on the sides. Tried to return to HD, but I was outside of the return window. Impossible to win at this one.

Both sides had damage that needed to be fixed before installation. The packaging they came in was almost nonexistent. I waited almost a month for them didn't have time to return, reorder and wait another month.

Ordered this twice and both times it came with a split through the middle. Super frustrating because it took 3 weeks to arrive both times

The walnut countertops were built solidly and were very heavy. They are beautiful and we love them! They were packaged very well with all edges protected and wrapped in plastic inside the outer box.

A lot of light colored walnut, maybe even some sapwood. Not saying it isn’t walnut.
