Its works so.much better then the crappy intex strainer that clips onto the side of the pool. This with the proper size hose or pipe (id recommend hard piping it in), actually sucks floating debris into it. Also the included attachment for the vacuum hose makes vacuum hookup super easy.

Pool specs: Bestway 16x48 round. Intex QX2600 sand filter w chlorinator. We got this after having little success with the standard equipment and also the intex side skimmer. Ever since getting this- our water is clear. Very happy with it. Only need to vacuum the bottom and check levels- works GREAT.

Easy install and all parts were there. Fast shipping as well - showed up early. Item works great, my pool has never been cleaner! It comes with all of the adapters you'd need for different hose connections (clap or screw) and unless you have a reducing adapter (which it does NOT come with) it is just for 1.5" connections (not a problem, just an FYI for those doing research). There are many install videos and reviews - I recommend following the ones that DO NOT cut the silicone flange.

Works better than expected. This replaced round clamp on style skimmer for above ground pool. 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to buy adapter to work with pool pump. FYI, YouTube is better guide than the manual for installation.
