I got this one on sale for $199. It’s not the best as it doesn’t suck water well. I have to move back and forth for it to work. Even then, it doesn’t suck all the water. However, it’s still workable as the floor is not too wet. I wish it would clean the corner too, but it doesn’t. I have to clean the corner separately, when needed. I love that it comes in 2 rolls. I also love that the battery can switch. I bought both the OnePRW blade and the floormate, so I have 2 batteries to switch back and forth. This mop comes with higher battery. The blade comes with lower battery. But, they still work well. I like the fact that the battery can use for any equipments. I enjoy cleaning very much with both the Floormate and the Blade+. It makes cleaning so much enjoyable and not like a drag. Keep in mind that it’s best to vacuum before you mop. That way, the mop will sucks less dust. But, you don’t have to vacuum ahead if you don’t want too as the floormate also suck the dirt too. If you like to keep your house clean, but doesn’t want to use the actual mop too much, then you can use the Floormate. I like to use the Floormate for quick clean. However, if I really want to clean the floor well, then I would use a regular manual mop and I would mop 3 times to make sure the floor is very clean.

Lightweight and easy to assemble but horrible cleaning abilities. I thought this would be the answer to my kitchen tiles and it was a let down. You have to go over and over and over the same area to get a smudge off the floor, even after spraying the solution and letting it sit. I have a toddler, a big kid, and a dog and the floors are in constant need of attention- I was hoping this would be my answer, but unfortunately, I’ll have to keep searching. Maybe this is best suited for homes that don’t require deep cleaning.

I got this as an upgrade from one of those "semi-disposable" spray mops you can find in the grocery store to clean my hardware floors. There is no way to even compare the difference, so I'll stop right there!! In fairness this is in a completely different price point, is battery operated, etc. This unit comes with two different rollers, and your first bottle of cleaning solution, which if you are using this for home use will last a while. It's relatively easy to use - just remember you have to charge the battery first. The solution mix has two options - one for small area and one for a larger area - which helps cut down on wasted cleaning solution. Like a lot of newer vacuum cleaners, there is quite a bit of "swivel" and maneuverability as you go. There are also two "speeds": ECO for regular cleaning (which preserves battery life) and a faster speed for stains. So far I have only used this for regular cleaning - I have not used it on any trouble spots or stains yet. My hardwood floors look terrific and its really nice to be able to give my area rugs a good "wet" clean once in a while. And let me just add, using this on my hardwoods is exponentially faster than my old spray mop.

I thought maybe this was a combo vacuum and cleaner that could replace both units, but it definitely is not. It’s designed for cleaning, and cleans both carpet and bare floors. So it says. And it says little else. The manual is severely lacking in information. It tells you how to operate the machine, but not how to USE it. My first test was on a traffic area of carpet. I used practically the whole “small area” measure of solution trying to clean a 3’x6’ area. The instructions don’t give you any help on how to clean carpet, like whether to dispense solution pushing forward or pulling back, so I went by my experience with my *actual* rug cleaner which was while slowly pulling back, and then going over the area a couple times to extract it. When that didn’t work, I tried using it going forward, going both ways, and no matter what the dirt is largely still there. It’s probably better for new spills and light duty. Grade: D Next I tried it in the kitchen where the cats’ bowls are, etc. It worked very well here, vacuuming up spilled food and cleaning the floor. But again I was stymied about how to use it and what I should be expecting it to do. Does the brush stay damp like a mop? Do you spray going forward or pulling back? I found it will stay damp for one or two passes, but you have to use the solution a lot. And you want to spray it pulling back because it will be squeegeed up too quickly to be effective… because the brush doesn’t stay damp. I discovered the best method was vacuum the space, spray pulling back, then three strokes around the immediate area, move and repeat. It was really good at stuck stuff. You could spray it and get it up pretty easily with a few short strokes. Grade: B+ The really neat thing was… you know those gross, wet lines of dust and fur and heaven knows what else? While this might create them, it will also clean them up. Just go over it a few times and it will get sucked up. You don’t have to touch it. Okay, maybe a little if it’s not dropping out when you empty and rinse the tank, but definitely better. After the cat food test came the cat litter test. This is a difficult area because you can vacuum up the litter, but the dust remains, and you *know* it was used litter, so you want to mop the area. This pretty much does the whole job. Since both litter boxes are on tile with a mat under them (which doesn’t do ANYTHING for the issue), I vacuumed and then and mopped. It worked pretty well, even in the grout lines which I didn’t really expect. The issues arose when I encountered more cat litter after the machine was wet. It did pick it up and everything, but it left a haze after it dried. All I can say is you have to thoroughly vacuum the area before cleaning, which kind of defeats the purpose of this machine to both vacuum and clean. Grade: B I had emptied and rinsed the tank after doing each area to gauge how well it worked. The areas with the kitty litter was the last of the day, so I used the cleaning tray to rinse the unit per the directions. When I took the brush cover off to remove the brush for drying and rinse the cover off, I found that the litter has clumped behind the squeegee and in a couple of other spots and I had to scrape it out. Maybe that’s what left the haze on the floor like wet chalk, but this machine is promoted as good for pets. Maybe it’s just good for dogs, because three-quarters of the cleaning up after cats is the litter, and after all was said and done this doesn’t appear to do all that well after all. But if you aren’t chasing after pets with it, you probably don’t care. :) The machine itself has two side lights, with little blue lights that come on when the solution is triggered (mentioned nowhere in the materials). These are handy, but I would have liked one in the center so I can more easily see where the solution is spraying. It’s difficult to see, and it took me a while to determine it sprays no wider than the clear window around the brush, and no more than about 2 inches ahead. You store the unit on the rinse tray after each use, but battery goes on a separate charger that is not part of the unit. Pros and cons with that. Who has an outlet in the closet to plug in the machine to charge? But then you have to get the charger out. But it is very freeing to be able to grab the machine and clean here and there around the house without having to plug and unplug and keep moving the cord. In the end, this is best suited for quick cleaning or emergency clean up. It’s not going to replace any tool you already have in your arsenal if you actually LIVE in your house. I’m keeping my steam cleaner, vacuum cleaner, and steam mop. I'm not sure where the "professional" part comes in.

First impression? This machine has a small footprint, it looks great, it is very light weight and easy to use. They paid attention to the important things, like the handle and controls are right there at the height we are used to finding them on some of the much larger machines. It comes with a right-sized rinse and storage tray that it can also sit on in storage to protect your floor, and a “get you started “sample of the recommended Hoover Multi-surface floor cleaning solution. This machine is powered by a very strong yet light-weight Lithium Ion Battery and charger system, that is designed to power Hoovers latest line of great cordless home maintenance equipment. It drops easily into the easy to access battery compartment, ready to go instantly. Controls include top of the handle mounted power on/off, operating mode selector, and battery condition. There is even a powerful close to the floor mounted dual headlight system that works very well to light-up dark corners for you, without over-taxing the battery. We gave it a tough initial test run on a hard to keep clean textured ceramic tile kitchen floor, and we were impressed with the more than ample power, and the very good job it did in cleaning. My wife remarked on how pleasant it is to use, and she liked the light touch required to operate it. We have several bedroom area rug and hardwood floors that we intend to maintain with it as well. We are very impressed with the obvious quality and great features, and we recommend it.

Making mopping just a bit easier the new Hoover Professional Series ONEPWR Cordless Floor Mate Jet Hard Floor Cleaner was very easy to assemble. Just insert the handle and you are ready to go. The unit is very easy to wheel around when not in use and handles nicely while in use. The battery needs to be charged before first use which takes about 3 hours. The battery has a convenient push button on top to show how much charge it has. The included solution is concentrated so you only have to add a little to the water tank along with the water. For my first use I used the large area fill line. I used the floor mate to tackle my downstairs areas which consists of heavy tile and linoleum. I successfully cleaned the kitchen, entry, bathroom and laundry room on one battery charge. I also cleaned 2 carpet runners and a rug. I was worried from reading other reviews that I would run out of battery before I was able to finish. I instead found myself racing the level of cleaning solution more than battery life. I was also using the eco setting since it was a basic clean up and not heavy duty. You do get less battery life using the higher setting. Refilling the solution bottle is a lot easier than waiting 3 more hours for the battery to charge. My kitchen tile has thick dark grout which takes a lot of fluid to get clean no matter what method I am using. I think this accounts for the amount of cleaning solution that I needed to use. The major bonus for me was being able to get a good clean on my rugs. They are too thin to use a regular carpet cleaner and this was perfect for making them look great again. Helps to know that they have finally got a light cleaning. This unit comes with 2 different roller types. The extra one was extra soft so I just used the included basic one for my tile floors. If you have other Hoover ONEPWR items then having multiple batteries is definitely a plus. I checked the battery after use and the battery showed that there were still 3 out 4 bars on the battery meter. It is nice you can check the battery level without removing it from the unit. Just flip open the battery compartment lid and press the button to show the battery strength meter. I found the floors were still left wet, but not as wet as my previous methods for floor cleaning. They also dried quickly. The dirty water tank was easy to remove for emptying and cleaning. The water was filthy so it was obviously doing the job of picking up and cleaning. I intentionally didn’t sweep any of the areas I cleaned beforehand. It seemed to pick up small debris and hair quite well. The unit changes sound noticeably when it is time to empty the tank. The dirty water tank has a filter which they recommend cleaning monthly. Just clean with water and mild detergent and let dry completely. I would say the thing that takes the most time is the clean up and break down after using the Hoover Floormate. It wasn’t hard and will probably seem less involved after each use. The Rinse & Storage Tray provided for cleaning the unit is definitely a plus. You simply set the unit in the tray, add water, then run for 15 seconds. After this you just empty the dirty water tank and rinse. The roller is also removed. The included tray has a handy slot for inserting the roller into so it can dry before the next use. The thing that takes the most time is waiting for the parts to dry. This is common for this style of cleaners though. I would definitely recommend this for quick mop up jobs and overall cleaning. It is especially great for those area rugs. I wish the head was a bit narrower since it didn’t fit down the one side of my toilet in the bathroom. Also it would be nice to be able to use other products for the cleaning solution. At least the solution is concentrated and it seems like the bottle will last awhile. All in all we are very pleased with our new Hoover Professional Series ONEPWR Cordless Floor Mate Jet Hard Floor Cleaner and we are looking forward to years and years of use out of it. We already own the Hoover SmartWash Advanced Pet Automatic Carpet Cleaner and they match perfectly when stored in the upstairs closet. It is very nice having both a corded and cordless floor cleaner so we can now clean all the surfaces in our house with ease.

I am so disappointed that I paid almost $300 for this. The suction is mediocre at best and 90% of the time it won’t work at all. When I turn it on even with a full charge it dies out.

I have only used this about 10 times and my battery lasts less than 30 minutes after it has been charging for 24 hours. I shouldnt be spending $80 extra for another battery. Other than that it works great.. as long as you get a good battery.

Suction was underwhelming even on high and the brush was didn't sit low enough while being too soft to clean harder spots on the floor. Might have given it a bit of a pass if it was a 120 dollar or so item but at 300 it simply didn't bring enough value to the floor (pun intended and executed.)

No its being replaced by hoover since there is no suction

Unfortunately this unit never has performed properly. Service and warranty was a disaster. Would not recommend.

Works great, 1st battery had issues but they fixed the issue by replacing it.

This was great at first. Just what I needed. Now the suction has stopped. Can't take it apart to look at anything. Kind of useless now. Can use the brush but then need something else to pick up water. Will buy another machine but not a Hoover.
