I stopped buying cleaners the past decade because a pain to clean and end up stinking. I decided to try again and this machine addressed all my concerns and the brushes dont rotate like vacuums they spin! The easiest ever to clean! My carpet look like professional cleaning. To be fair i pretreat with my homemade solution in the HDX gallon sprayer then use hot water in the machine to extract.

This is the best shampooer I've ever had. Works on my shag rugs. Seems quieter and tank is larger than my last. Only criticism- placement of wash/rinse toggle is awkward. Should be on handle imo.

This hoover best part was the tub the water holds in it's big , enough water to work with but it's made to cheap not even a good hard plastic 'if it gets dropped it will crack it does not flush on my ceramic floor to where the bristles are touching the floor for a good scrub it leaves lots of water and does not suck it up i'm had to use a towel and go over it after ' this was not the description i got before i bought it and spoke to a home depo rep about how he recommend it no not for me

Beware! Model FH50150NC does not come with hose! Hard to use hand held spin brush without a hose!

Purchased this shampooer because at my newly constructed home there is a lot of red clay dirt. I had purchase a lovely area rug with white in it. I didn't know anything about red clay dirt, but it showed up everywhere, no matter how well we thought we wiped our feet. Especially on my new rug. So after using this product, I had to stop and take a picture of the cleaning power of this machine. I can now breath easier knowing that I can clean the rug to look new again.

The hose stopped working after three uses. Thank god I had my receipt or else hoover wasn’t going to assist me

I have both this stand up unit and the hand held smaller unit. The design of the stand up unit is INSANE! There is a screen in the base of the machine that needs to be cleaned but when I wet to clean it it simply fell apart. I went on the chat on this site to find the part number. And they don't sell it. It is not designed to be replaced I came to find out. It's made to destroy your machine and force you to rent or buy new. I'm beyond frustrated. Oh and the hand held unit just quit. Dead. Too. Just was on and then off like the power went our. Sounds like a fuse. But where a fuse on that unit is I have no idea. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE by anything but Hoover.

I just bought this Hoover today since the brushes on my old Hoover of 7 yrs stopped working. I went over the carpet I just shampooed 2 wks ago with my old Hoover & could not believe how much dirt this new one picked up. Comparing old to new machines. Old had separate dispenser for detergent. New one adds detergent right into tank which is what I've been doing with old machine after plastic clip broke that held dispenser in place. Old machine had switch to change from Wash to Rinse. New one does not. Switch was kind of irrelevant since you could accomplish this easily by not adding detergent & no need for switch. The only negative I have is that I'm still struggling with removal of the brushes for cleaning. The assembly is tight & I broke one of the tabs on old machine trying to get it out. However I prefer these rotating brushes over new roller type brushes.

I had one of the older models of the spin brush and loved it, But the motor gave out in 2021 and had it since 1996 or 1997. So, I just purchased this one. I love the updated one easy to clean, connect the hose, Empty the dirty water and clean the brushes and take the water intake off and clean. I did my stairs and carpet excellent job! Soon my furniture! I always liked Hoover and will stay with them!

Since my Bessel kicked the bucket I needed to find a replacement and chose this model. All I had to do was put they handle together the reservoir on and the tank I am plug it in. My floors turned out wonderful. Thank you Home Depot. And also Hoover!

Bought machine this spring & use weekly due to 3 dogs. I loved how well it cleans but black plastic has broken off from inside & you don't have parts on site to replace. It's not a year old yet. Sadly I can't bring myself to buy another one if I can't easily find replacement parts. Not sure why such thin fragile plastic would be used where bearing casing is. I knew something was wrong with machine when while using, plastic pieces were coming out bottom and I could smell a rubber like burning smell. I just want my machine to work.!!

Does not work. My carpet looks just as bad as before. Looks fine until it dries then filthy. I went over the high traffic area a few times. Both directions. Now too late to get money back. Please don't buy!

Used to see how much I could recover a rug from a previous tenant.

Vacuum is easy to assemble. Easy to take apart and clean. Live the drying feature.

I had issues with the scrubbers. The scrubbers are operating from the suction to turn a peller and gears. In the first use it stopped working. I took it apart and couldn't find the issue at that time. I should of returned this vac to Home Depot but I instead kept it and used it with out the scrubbers rotating. Today I finally took it apart again after watch a diy video. My vac had cracks in the plastic and the bearings are seized with rust. The assembly is 55 dollars plus shipping... not worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised how well it clean my carpet. As you see in picture one the dirt spots were very very deep. In picture two remove them all. I recommend this product.

This is absolutely awesome! As a mom of two young kids and a dog that sheds in my home the floors can sometimes get dirty pretty quick. Thanks to my recent purchase of the awesome power scrub deluxe carpet cleaner my floors have never looked better. It's easy to use and maneuver around the tables and other furniture. The kids were a big help too! They enjoyed watching me clean the floors and at how well that they look now! We went from dirty floors to super clean floors in no time at all. I have to say I'm definitely impressed! It's well worth the the investment for my home. I will be using this many times and storing it is easy to ladies! It's lightweight and not big and bulky like the old one I use to use. I love this one!

It works as well as the professional machines and it has a nice weight to it. I love it !! Definitely would recommend.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this machine. The reviews seemed ok but you never know. I received it yesterday and OMG totally impressed with the results.

The machine works very well. It puts carpet cleaning solution down evenly and seems to get most of the water extracted. Our carpets were actually dry the very next day and we did this in winter. Very pleased with how the machine performed because of the very low sale price. Would give it 5 stars but the cleaning solutions they sent with it did not get our carpets real clean. To be fair it was a recently purchased house with carpets that had small spots and didn't appear to have been cleaned in 20 years. We are going to try an oxygen cleaner and spot cleaner to see if that helps. Maybe we just have to clean it more than one time. I would definitely recommend.

This machine is amazing. My 2 year old grandson left stains all over the place. I wasn't sure if the machine couple help remove the stains, but it did. I'm so impressed. I highly recommend this machine. It puts down a decent amount of water to do the cleaning & really pulls the water up easily. I was able to walk on the carpet almost immediately after cleaning it. I love that feature, my previous machine dry time was almost 24 hrs. The biggest thing I want to recommend to everyone who buys this machine besides the fact that you will love it, is to make sure every container dirt & clean is snapped in probably or you will be wasting your time. Make sure the tool spot/door is closed, as well. Always look for the dirty bucket to have water coming in, if there isn't anything coming in, something isn't closed properly. Double check every connection. I really love how everything can be taken apart to clean it & to dry everything out completely. My previous machine was difficult to clean. This is a great machine & highly recommended you spend your money on it. You won't regret it!

This machine was simple to use and understand. It did a great job cleaning my carpets of the evidence of 3 large, hairy, often a little grubby farm dogs. The price of the machine was less then 1 visit from Zerorez and I'll be able to do my carpets every month now for free. The carpet detergent that came with the cleaner was effective and doesn't feel like it left any residue behind. We'll see, based on how clean the carpet stays over the next few weeks. Overall, very well worth the 130 bucks I paid for it.

I normally rent carpet cleaner, but sanitizing is hit or miss. I decided to buy a new one. It was either a Bissell or a Hoover. THIS HOOVER IS GOOD. The assembly is super easy. Separate containers for clean and dirty water. Disassembly to sanitize parts is a breeze. The feel of this Hoover says cheap, but how it works is no where near cheap. I have two dogs and my 16 year old tends to accidentally relieve herself during the night. We spot clean, but it looks worse seeing the clean spots versus the disgusting carpet. It took about 10 entire passes in one room (2 rinse passes), but I’m glad I did and the Hoover showed its true colors; it can do the job!

Easy to use and works pretty good I was impressed

it seems to have done a decent job at cleaning but perhaps I received a defective one but the small gate for the upholstery attachment broke after one use. I will be coming back to my store and asking for a replacement.

This is a great product

I bought this because Home Depot had a good special on it and I felt my old carpet cleaner had outlived its use. I used it in my sunroom, which had a bunch of stains due to senior dogs and it being the walk thru to the backyard. I was beyond impressed with how the stains came up! And in a short time. I wish I had taken before photos at the start, but I did near the end. Very, very pleased i bought this.

Awesome product, does a great job. Havent used the upholstery attachment yet.

Spilled a bucket of bright pink liquid waterproofing on ALL OVER creme carpet. Liquid. Waterproof. Rubber... I jumped in the car to go get anything, but SO GLAD I threw this one in the cart! With a couple of rounds of the professional grade cleaner and IT’S GONE!!!! Assembly took less than 5 minutes and it moves as easily as a vaccum. Everything functions very easily-including changing the attachments- and it’s not very heavy at all. If this thing can suck liquid rubber out of carpets, I have all confidence that there is nothing it can’t get out. With how well it worked I would have even paid more!
