I bought these to control some cables. I tried stick up hooks but they were never strong enough and would eventually pop off of the wall. These screw into place and are going to stay put until the cables/cords need to be moved. I am very satisfied with these straps because they are strong and sturdy, they do not bend out of shape easily. They are good for indoor or outdoor use.

The Halex EMT 3/4 in. 1-Hole Speed Strap hold conduit very tightly to a wood support. These are very specifically made for EMT when you are fastening a lot of conduit to wooden supports and need to do it fast. No fumbling for fasteners. Just grab, set on conduit and run the screw in with a driver. The screws provided are not self-drilling, so these don’t work well fastening to heavy metal supports. They do seem to work on light gauge metal like steel studs, but not ideally. If you have a lot of conduit to run on wooded supports, this is the strap you need.

I needed six over-sized straps to secure a 1/2" gas hose under my deck. I do a leak check on the connections of any propane powered device when I change the tank and I wanted to be able to access the coupling of my 1/2" gas hose with two wrenches if needed as well as provide slack for adjusting the hoses and preventing crimps. During my online search for the over-sized strap for a 1/2" gas line I came across the Halex EMT 3/4 in. 1-Hole Speed Thread Strap (4-Pack) and I noticed that there was an apparently identical strap: the Halex RGD 3/4 in. 1-Hole Speed Thread Strap (4-Pack). I looked up the terms EMT and RGD on the internet and apparently the straps are designed to be compatible with two types of electrical conduit. I needed six straps, so I decided to order a 4 pack of each. It turned out that they are not identical; the RGD has a slightly larger diameter than the EMT. Other than that, they were essentially identical and diameter difference made no difference in my application. My naivete continued with respect to the term “Speed Thread”. I assumed that it referred to the point of the screw to facilitate screwing into wood without drilling a guide hole. That was not the case, and after I researched the term on the internet, I discovered it referred to the hole in the strap which provides a thread for the screw. Handy for not losing the screw, however… The screws have heads that I am not familiar with. I have several hex-driver sets for all manner of screws, including a 100-piece set that I thought would cover all combinations. Not for these screws. They had slots for a standard blade screw driver and some sort of accommodation for a Philips (a Philips/Slot). None of my drivers fit it other than the slotted. The screws are made of cheap steel that deforms easily. After drilling the guide holes into aged pressure treated wood, I could not screw the screws in with a hand screwdriver. Using my drill with a slotted driver was a challenge and I trashed two screws when the driver slipped. The straps worked fine for my purpose, but installing them added 45 minutes to a job that should have been ten. I cannot recommend these straps because of the cheap material and odd design of the screws. If you have to use these, save some time and replace the screws with decent ones before you start.

Halex EMT 3/4 in. 1-Hole Speed Thread Strap (4-Pack) Tri-Head screws included that drives faster for an easy installation. I purchased these for a new power line that we installed in 3/4 inch conduit form the main breaker box to the AC feed line. These will be used to secure the conduit to the wall, since there was no room to run it inside the walls. Everything you need is supplied, four 3/4 inch brackets and 4 easy to drive screws.

I just picked up this four pack of EMT 3/4 inch speed thread straps for a basement project. I am really impressed with how thick and sturdy these pieces out. Also they come with nice hardware screws. I have gotten other pieces before with screws that instantly strip and it was not the case with these. They hold nice and tight which is what they are supposed to.

I've been mounting ceiling fans above my workbench in the garage and need a secure way to fasten the PVC pipes holding the electric wires to the ceiling. I needed both 3/4" and 1/2" sizes and these clamps are available in both! (plus a few more sizes). They work great, easy to use and it's nice to have the screws already pre-threaded in the clamp. Thanks Halex for making my job easier!

Worked well in fastening conduit. Since the hole is elonged use of a washer helps it from not slipping

Normally these are used for mounting conduit but I used mine to mount solar spotlights on the railing of my deck. I choose the single hole versions since the diameter of my spotlights is not a common size as conduit is and the single hole gave me some flexibility.

The 3/4 in. Metallic Tube has a few flaws. First and most important there were no directions for proper installation included in the packaging. Second, the curvy end faces the wrong direction and is upside down. Finally, it had a hole in it.
