The accompanying photo shows concentric rings on the interior of the trim, which is what I wanted. The trim you sent has no concentric rings. You should send the correct item. Today.

From the picture on the website, I thought I was getting just the housing with springs and the ring. To my surprise, the product was much harder to install and the connecting wires were very hard to bend and attach to the side of the can.

The first picture shows the trim being baffled, while the other two views show it a smooth finish (and it is a smooth finish) around where the bulb rests. I think they look great and am pleased. Would have given 5 stars I'd the first picture was accurate to what you are actually getting.

This item does what it's designed to do, but there's nothing special about it. It's a white ring with a few springs that are awkward to engage but serve their purpose. It looks fine in the garage ceiling where I installed it. The price is good.

It wasn't really difficult to pick these out. They were the right ones for the room.

Looks good, take a little dexterity to work springs into place to hold to fixture. Took a few minutes to teach someone new how to do it as they would have had difficulty figuring out on their own. Give a good finished look.

The trim fits very nicely. It also looks good after installation. A little tricky, but anyone can install.

These are simple and inexpensive trim kits that do the job and are just fine. The main thing to know is what bulb size you will need. These are compatible with R30 long neck bulbs, if you try to use a short neck it will get stuck and anything larger than a "30" will be too large. I spent way too much time playing with light bulbs after having 5" can lights installed in my new house. Once you get it all together you won't really notice these trim kits.

After installing 2 dozen of these in our basement, we found that roughly 1 in 5 had lightbulbs that were pushed to one side. I had to remove and bend parts of the components' formed sheetmetal spring clips, to get the bulbs into the center of the opening.

Must cheaper same look as more expensive ones. With the bulbs in you can't see anyway. But at least 25% cheaper at lowes

It looks good and was easy to install. It sits nice and flush to the wall and I preferred this over the baffeled/ridge look.

The Satin Nickel finish on 5 inch recessed lighting trims for the Halo brand is very difficult to find. I was surprised I had to order it from Home Depot's online site instead of at their brick and mortar stores. However, this is a very nice finish and makes the ceiling look a lot more modern and gives a nice clean look. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

First of all, I find 5 inches to be the ideal size for recessed fixtures in the home. Using 4 in. fixtures, you need so many that the ceiling looks like Swiss cheese. 6 in. fixtures look like they belong in a commercial space (in my opinion). This trim looks terrific. It really updates the look of the hallway where I used them. We are now doing a basement renovation and I will use them there as well (in a sheetrock ceiling). I like the metal look much better than the plastic look of the black or white trim kits. I also find that the satin nickel does not smudge near as much as the chrome or chrome-look trim kits. I consider these a great find.
