Product is easy to install with push in wire connectors

Extremely easy to install.

I ordered the wrong part so returned them. However, the Halo 5"/6" led 20 yr or so lights fit the old cans perfectly. Every one of them works. Installed 10 of them in about an hour and relit my house. Better light, better looking. couldn't be more pleased.

Was very simple to install.

Fit perfectly with retofit LED light.

The pins are difficult to push back

Needed one more recessed light in center of basement ceiling for proper lighting of game table. As expected, this worked well.

This kit was perfect for my living room paired with the Halo Led 3000 .

The only complaints are that they don’t come with wire connection that holds the wire to the fixture.Also buy the 6” hole saw built by Klein works awesome but cost over $50

The spring clips do a fair job of supporting the can, but the positioning of the junction box sometimes makes it difficult to both install it between joists and at the same time to connect existing power lines. Overall, installation is simple and fast.

Three stars equals average. The only issue was trying to put the trim on. The two places where the spring wires are pushed up have cutouts in the sides so the wires kept catching in the holes making it very difficult. Got one side up, then tried to get the other side up, the first side slipped down - start over. Never had that problem before.

The recess can work great, but you may want to consider 4" cans for remodel installation to avoid pipes and floor joist.

As advertised....got the job done and will purchase more for my next room
