Easy to install using a 4-1/8" hole saw.

I have installed over a dozen of these. The lighting is great and they are easy to install. Over the course of two years, the spring clips have failed on every single one, causing the light to fall from the hole. The plastic fails (breaks) where the spring clip screws into the housing. I used a dab of adhesive on the lip of the light, and hold it in place with painters tape until the adhesive drys. Great products, but poorly made.

Bought and replaced previous lights which kept going out

Been using these Halo lights for years as an electrical contractor. We buy them weekly. Lately we been having to replace so many that we are switching manufacturers.

Little bit expensive,the junction box on the cheap side.

Pros: They fit under a ceiling joist allowing placement anywhere, higher listed light output (untested) than other 4in IC LEDs. Cons: Cheaply made and cheap looking. Plastic has inconsistent finish. Listed as 'Air-Tight Certified', how is that possible? Similar lights from Commercial Electric (Home Depot Brand) include foam gaskets that fit between the edge of the light and the ceiling, these DO NOT. CE also include 3-port Wago-type connectors, these include throw-away wire nuts (way too small).

Easy to install, good choices for “type of light”, and provides great lighting for a new basement bathroom and bedroom! Already decided to swap out Family Room lighting and replace with more of these!

Love these. Purchased recently for installation in new basement bathroom. Perfect for installing between joists and around heating ducts and/or plumbing. Easy install, great lighting - and the choice of light “type” is an added bonus. Planning to install more in a basement bedroom.

Everytime I purchase this manufacture the quality gets worse. HD needs to go back to Juno.
