puts out more light than my old-fashioned round ceiling light. But there are a lot of shortcomings in the design. The modular quick connect wire ends were a different style and shape so I had to cut them off and use wire nuts. Also they wouldn’t clip to the metal plate they included. I had to modify the clips to make them work. I purchased five of these and all of them had the same issue.

This light takes up a lot of space in box. We tried to install in a couple different places for hours and could never get it to clip into the bracket. We've installed about 15 different kinds of lights recently and this is by far the worst design of them all.

I purchased this product for our shower. Its low profile and modern design match well with the rest of our home and I am pleased with the amount of light it puts out. The fixture ships with a variety of mounting hardware depending on your application. My application was to replace a recessed light. Unfortunately the mounting hardware was not as intuitive or robust as I had expected from this manufacturer and I struggled to attach the hardware to the light itself. I've purchased Halo series SLD6 fixtures in the past and the mounting hardware was a much higher quality and fastened to the light with screws.

Our house came with these so we had no choice. I wanted to replace them with a phillips hue product but because they have a special “can”, i cannot use just any bulb. We had our first one die on us today and the printed date of manufacturing on it is 5/15/2017. Would not recommend. Get yourself a basic can for any style light bulb so you have more choices.

It's quite possible that I missed something, but I had a devil of an issue with installing the torsion spring brackets, then when it was installed, it would easily fall out of position. This system/design needs to be reengineered. Second issue, since the unit is white, and most ceilings are white, it seems that black foam rubber cushion which shows up in the gap at the ceiling isn't optimum.

Light fixture reasonably easy to install! It gives off great coverage & when a dimmer switch is added it is fantastic!! Looks stylish as it blends into ceiling & similar to a can light.

This item took way to long to arrive, purchased another brand. Return it to the store without opening the box .

Poor quality for flush ceiling mount. Might work good with can lights

I installed 1 of these in a closet with ease so when it came time to put something in the pantry, I thought this would be a great choice! Holy cow after receiving 3 of them and failing to get the dang thing to click into the bracket, I give up and I now hate this light. The exchange process is length, awkward and expensive. You have to do a new order each time payfor it again and then wait all over again for the new one to come. Uncle! I give up!

Very hard to install

Easy to install in several different applications, great light that works perfectly with dimmer, looks great, provides even light. I'm buying several more to update other lights.

Cheap plastic, doesn't snap in and fit as tightly as it should to be in a shower! But bright as daylight, like the sun bright!!! Hope it never needs the bulb replaced and I hope no water gets up into it

I bought 11 of these for my basement, new ceiling freshly painted with junction boxes in ceiling. I am an electrician and gave up after installing only two. The third one after attempting over and over, I called it quits. The two that actually were installed were not nice and flush and had very small gaps on the opposite sides of the clips. I tried multiple solutions and even ended up breaking two by pushing too hard on the center of the fixture trying to get the clips to engage. NEVER again. Halo products are the worst I have ever worked with over my 15 years of working in this trade.

I love these lights but they are nearly impossible to install in a standard electrical box.

Very good inexpensive light

Works as expected, have no complaints. It is easy to install. Ensure you have the right size ladder if installing on a high ceiling.

Bought 10 of these, lights got condensation in them and now flickering. Would not recommend in a wet location as stated when they were bought

Love them. Replace my old recessed lights to this and my room is bright. Ordering more for my other rooms.

Easy to install. Can be used for both new construction and retrofitting existing lighting. Low profile looks sleek and designer trims available that enhance the beauty of the light.

The light itself is good but good luck getting it installed. The clips that hold it inside the bracket bend easily on installation and once they are bent, it's impossible to get it back in the bracket correctly. I have spent hours trying to figure out a way to get the clips to fit in the bracket and have decided to resort to hot glue. Yeah, seriously. Say away from this light. So many better options out there for you including the canless ones that you wire directly to the box and are flush mount rather than sticking down about a 1/2 inch.
