This fan is exactly what we're looking for. It's modern and contemporary. It comes with a remote, which is great. The air that blows on a medium setting is better than the high setting on our old fan. The brightness of the light is just right for is.The best part is we got it for $78. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is because it took forever to receive it. Ordered it 06/13 and it was not ready for pick-up at Home Depot until 07/08.

Nice looking fan with remote control that I was surprised to be very convenient rather than just another remote lying around. The control box for the wireless controller goes into the ceiling canopy. Take time and break it into parts. You will develop fan-install-ADD with this one.

This is a great ceiling fan; this is terrible lighting! Of all the ceiling fans I've installed over the years for my household and other family members, this is by far the easiest. The wiring was clearly marked and the ball-socket design of the installation bracket was nearly fool-proof design. Word of caution... it is a relatively heavy fan. Make sure you have a good cross support before installing. Mine goes directly into a 2x4 cross support mounted between joists. The fan is a high quality fan and moves air tremendously well. It is operated by remote control which works very well and from a good distance. Since I was not pre-wired to have a fan in the room it was placed, the remote saved me a great deal of trouble. And then you turn the lights on! I knew it only came with two 13 watt CFL bulbs, which is the equivalent of about 120 watts for regular bulbs. I figured it would be no problem because fans like this can usually handle two 60 watt bulbs, so if I bump up the CFL bulbs to 23 to 30 watts (about 300 W equivalence) that would be no problem. But this light fixture is rated for only 13 watt bulbs, so I cannot use brighter lights. I've done the research and I think my only option (besides putting in brighter bulbs anyway and hoping for the best) is to install more lighting. And that's why lighting took this product from a 5 to a 3. One final note... I have a high vault on my ceiling, about a 3-1 ratio. I was worried about using the included 10" downrod but it was not warranted. The downrod and size of the fan body gives plenty of clearance for the sloped ceiling.

I am so happy that I bought this ceiling fan.I love, love, love the modern but elegant look and the functionality. Considering the price it was a great deal - best buy for a good looking product. I had it installed and it only took the electrician less that 30 minutes for the installation. This product is worth recommending and I'm giving it a rating of five star.

Very nice-looking fan that works well and enhances the appearance of the room. It includes a remote and the sale price at HD was great. We're going to upgrade the bulbs as they are not quite bright enough for our room, but that's a minor issue.

I was a little skeptical when I ordered the fans ( ordered 2) because I don't like to buy w/o seeing the items first but I gave it a chance. The fans are beautiful didn't had to put the weight to balance the blades and the installation was fast just gave a quick look at instructions,it has three settings for the air the only downside is that the light doesn't have a dimmer but I'm in love with them and have had great compliments

First of all, look carefully at the TWO pictures of the fan in the "zoom" area. There are two fan colours available but the description does not indicate this choice, if in fact there is one. The fan shipped to me was the browner version, not the red-er version in the main picture. To my eye, the brown version is more dull looking. We decided to install it anyway. Including intalling the new electrical box for the fan, running the wires, assembling and installing the fan, it took a solid 4 hours. Perhaps if I read AND followed the instructions, I would have been done somewaht sooner - lots of parts and assembly. It is nice that it includes 2 CFL bulbs, but the remote is battery-less (an A23, I believe is needed). I hope the electronics last, but I may just ditch the remote for a wall-mounted hard-wired controller since I have the wiring and two switches available.

It is a beautiful looking fan, very sleek and elegant! Sophisticated, if you will. It works amazingly on top of it all! The control is a lifesaver!

No proper guidelines on handbook and there is no space keep the remote sensor

Only issue I have is that the remote control is the only method available for light and/or fan. Wish there was a back-up ie. pull chain

Great fan and a great look

I really like fan's looks and operation, it really produces a lot of wind. I wasn't pleased to find that the light wasn't dimmable but it probably was in the description but I over looked it. I reduced my rating by one star because I had so much trouble installing it. I got it totally installed and the fan wouldn't work. I had to call customer service twice to get some ideas on how to fix the problem. Let us just say make sure the connection at the light fixture is good and solid.

I ordered this fan to replace one in our guest room because I needed one with a remote. I had no idea it was so nice and looks stunning in the room. The quality is great.

I had it installed in my small covered deck and even at the highest speed, it barely gives any air. I even used a long rod to keep it close but it didn't help much. Now I have to pay another technician money to install another fan.

This fan was miserable to install. But once I got it up and running, it's a great fan. First, it added a short rod for low ceilings. Mine is 8'0", not low. So I used the standard rod. I'm 5'9" and it was darn close to the top of my head. Took it down and reinstalled with the short rod. Just right now. Then it made a scraping noise when I installed the blades. Took them all off and reinstalled in a different order. Spun blades and they were smooth. Hooked up the wires and turned it on. A new and loud scraping noise. Took it down again. Tightened all of the screws on the unit. Reinstalled the blades, and hung it up again. Now it's perfect. But that's another day that I don't want to relive. So 5 stars for the fan now that it's working perfectly. Minus 2 stars for the afternoon that I spent on the ladder installing it.

Love the look and the breezy air. I was worried that it will be too big for the 10X10 room I have, but it looks great.

Great fan only thing it does hang down on 8 ft ceilings.

A great buy. The only annoying and poor planing is that the remote control does not include the battery. Big turn off.

A little tricky to put together, but very nice.

The drill is easy to assemble and the light and tan is working properly.
