Initial cabinets arrived broken, then got lost, then late. Once we received the cabinets, they were not as expected. The off the shelf cabinets were better quality than these special orders. This is my 2nd cabinet order with Home Depot in a year, and AGAIN it was a disaster. I will not order cabinets from Home Depot in the future. The only good thing about this experience was the assistance I received from George and Emily at the customer service desk.

The back of the cabinet was not a solid piece of wood or press board like the sides and bottom. This makes the cabinet less over time and not really a solid cabinet for the cost. Should be a $150.00 cabinet not a $350.00 cabinet. It is some form of thermofoil, it is in the garage we will see how the back holds up over time with the humidity of Florida. The cabinet I replaced was all plywood and lasted 20 years. Basically this new cabinet is like an IKEYA.

Now that they fixed how they ship by ensuring shelving is secured properly for shipment, ( received 2 damaged) 3td time was charm. The product seems like it will work as intended.

When it arrived, at the store, one of the sides was broken. Mostly during shipping. I order another on hopes it won’t.

Horrible design and even worse construction. Just spots of hot glue and a few dowels holding boxes together. Glue was separated at joints. Door fronts were even wider than box assembly. Retuned them as soon as I unboxed the first cabinet.

The door warped in less than a month--there's a half inch gap at the top corner. Overall construction is fair--plywood with stapled joints, door looks like MDF, back isn't solid, cheap hinges. I'm taking this back. I ordered this as a hopefully-higher quality unit vs. what was in the store, but it's not.

Damage and reorder out of all that I got four had damage and one which I took anyway. A couple I got home and took out of box and they fell apart had to redo. Still waiting one . Not very good. People at counter have been helpful. They can’t believe the problems I have been having. Thanks

Extremely poor quality and sloppy workmanship. The laminated gray color was not fully adhered to the cabinet. It’s peeling off and looks awful. I’ll never have cabinets delivered again because they sent me junk that was collecting dust just to get them out of their inventory. Now I wish I didn’t accept a discount from Home Depot for me to keep the cabinets because I can’t return them. I’m disappointed and will never buy Hampton Bay products again.

They arrived damaged and of are very poor quality - even for a low end cabinet solution. I don’t see how their price outweighs their subpar and flimsy construction.

Love the shaker style. Stacked a 30” high cabinet on top of a 42” high cabinet and added some dark wood trim to create a storage cabinet, that sits on the laundry room floor. The wife loves the storage cabinet and the storage space that it provides. The cabinets that I bought are a good quality. Had to return 2 damaged cabinets in this process.
