I will never buy blinds from Hampton Bay again. It is a terrible and poorly made product. After opening box I found that there were some parts missing so I returned this item to the store to get another one. After installing blinds I found that the slats could not be close completely....left side would be completely closed but right side would remain partially (1/2" - 1") open. I was not able to adjust the slats to have both sides close completely. I am very unsatisfied with this product. I would return this product but do not want to go through the trouble of removing it and replacing it with another brand of vertical blind.

Looks nice, easy to install
I'll start by saying, once you get past the confusing instructions its actually super easy to install. My second set went smooth.
My sliding glass door has a wood trim around it that sticks 3/4" off the wall. Was not sure if I would need a spacer to extend off the wall to accommodate the blinds because the instructions don't say you can actually extend the blinds using the privided parts. Hind site, I should have noticed, but would have been much easier if the instructions pointed this out. Duh!
Anyway, once past that hurdle install was really easy. They look great! Also another reviewer mention using #10 - #12 X 1.25in. Drywall anchors. I highly recommend! Of course, the instructions don't mention this!
Only complaint (but not deal breaker) is the Valance could use improvement in the looks department, as the valance that came with my 2" horizontal faux wood blinds look terrific. Would have been a huge improvement cosmetically.
Otherwise, good looking easy to install vertical blinds. I would buy again.
