The drawers seem somewhat off balance, they open but not as smoothly as they should and definitely not as smoothly as the smaller drawer base we bought. Looks great though, I love the Melvern Shaker with the thinner more modern shaker front.

The drawer boxes were a bit smashed on delivery. ...
The drawer boxes were a bit smashed on delivery. If i was not an armature woodwooker i would have had to return them. As it is i was able to repair the issues and move on. The drawer slides are also not attached well at all. only 2 screws for each was not enough. 3 of the 6 drawer slide screws were striped and would not hold the drawer. I also had to buy extra screws to attach the slides well enough to have them function. The shelves did not come with mounting pegs to hold the shelves as was indicated in the description when purchased. So i also had to buy those.
