Perfect little lamp. I was looking for a small lamp for my living room, for those evening's you don't want strong lights. I read a review that the bulb stick's out of the lamp, and on the contrary , it fits perfectly. I bought two of them and I am very pleased with my purchase. the base is nice and heavy so the lamp does not fall over, the on/off switch is very convenient, as you flip the switch on, the light turns on slightly dimmed then a few seconds later it lights up to it's position. I think i will buy a couple more, I like subtle light around my living room.

I was looking for lighting to place on the floor near my plant stands and these are perfect. Excellent quality.

This product was exactly what I wanted and was good quality for a low price.

This is a great buy, can't go wrong. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the bulb isn't recessed like it is shown on the product page. The cfl bulb it ships with is mostly flush with a little bit above the rim so you see the light instead of it being out of view. I don't regret my purchase and would recommend to anyone.

Unlike the person who had them shipped, we bought these in the Home Depot store, and they were all in perfect condition (no breakage). We bought 3 of these for the living room, to use mostly while watching TV to add some ambient reflected light. They work great for that, and are placed on small shelves about half way up the wall (along with other things on the shelves), or on end tables next to the couch. The rotary switches are convenient.

Nice, clean, easy to install (plug in) and switch on/off via in-line switch. Don't buy online because they do a very poor job of packaging and 2 out of 3 came broken.
